Very clean, very comfortable, quiet street, close to the best seafood restaurants, the beach, shopping and fishing. I was thrilled to be able to see the marsh from the front porch where I read, relaxed and listened to music with my dogs. My sons caught fish off the surf down the street as well as Huntington Beach. Garden City Realty was great to work with. We plan to return.
Garden City Realty, Inc will take good care of you and answer any questions you may have.
Also if you have any car problems go to The Car Doctor. I needed A C help and they did a great job.
GO AND ENJOY!

Nice little house with about all amenities you may need. Big yard is great for pets and or kids. About a block to the beach and a good neighborhood to walk in. Restaurants and entertainment are everywhere.

The location and property were great. This is our 3rd year staying there. The only thing this year was the air. It didn't seem to work as well!

We moved locally and needed a place for two weeks. We chose Garden City Realty and specially Stone Throw! Very comfortable home and spacious. Very convenient to beach and restaurants.

We had one of the most relaxing enjoyable vacations we have ever been on. Having our two dogs come along and our two good friends this house was more then efficient to enjoy our week! Very cute and beautifully decorated, less than 2 min walk to the beach and a great view from our porch of the marsh! Close to so many restaurants and shops as well as a quick drive to our favorite spot Broadway at the Beach!!! Got to do a little golfing and still kick back! Would suggest this home to anyone and plan on coming back again next year!!!!

We had a great time and stay in this home. Everything worked! Home was just as represented in the ad. Thanks and it was only a stone's throw to the beach!
Great place!! THanks so much for keeping it "dog-friendly"!!! We love GCB and there aren't a ton of options.

Charming house with the perfect amount of room for our family, including dog. The house was spotless, with a great backyard for playing with our pooch. My girls got their own rooms, which they really liked. My one suggestion would be swapping out the queen in the master for a king.

Stone's Throw was the perfect property for our vacation. Clean and very close to the beach. My family had plenty of room and our dog enjoyed the big yard.

I wanted to let you know that problem reported about the front porch has been addressed, this should no longer be an issue. Should you find something go wrong during your next stay, please call the office and let us know. We are looking forward to having you back as our guests this year.

We loved this house! Just a short walk to the beach access, big yard for the dogs to play, awesome charcoal grill, comfy beds! I could go on. Only problems were the front porch was a bit unstable and there has some damage to the floor. We could tell work has been started to fix these issues. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. We plan on returning next year!
The week was blistering hot, with highs in the upper 90s all week. The plus side to this was a week on the beach without rain.
The house is a simple 3 bedroom 2 bath, a home built in the forties and completely remodeled within the last five years.
There was a structural problem with the front porch as it gave way like a trampoline every time you stepped out or in by the front door. The rest of the deck seemed solid enough, thou too narrow for spending time on.
All floors except kitchen and baths were laminate tile. A few tiles did not fit well, though this may have been from repair to the floor. All appliances were basic and in good working order.
Basic cooking utensils provided but we're not complete. Adequate forks and spoons, though only two knives for six people was inadequate..
Furnishing is barely adequate. One large couch, but no chairs. The chairs at the dining table are the only ones in the house. If you intend to read you may want to pack a table lamp or two as these were very sparse. The beds were adequate but basic mattresses. In fact, this seems the theme of the house, all furniture and appliances are adequate but far from luxurious. You get the feeling this was furnished and finished on a bare bones budget. Sort of a Motel 6 of rental houses. Considering we paid $2200 for the week, and having priced this in the middle of similar rentals I expected more.
All that having been said, the location was great and the yard was big enough for the kids to play in. Once my son shoveled out a seasons accumulation from the filthy barbecue grill we were able to get charcoal and grill out one night in a pleasant outdoor setting, a picnic bench beneath a cypress tree.
I would recommend the property, with reservations.

Perfect house for our family during a visit with family over the holidays and we loved that it was pet friendly. Very open floor plan with great updates.

We had a great time staying at stones throw. It was our first time renting a house instead of just staying at a hotel. The house was in a nice location, it was clean, and we enjoyed the convenience of having a washer and dryer to do our laundry. I would recommend this house.

We had a great time! Perfect home with plenty of room for all even the dog..which is hard to find pet friendly rentals. Perfect location, we recommend the Pirate Voyage Dinner Show. We will be back to rent again! Very quiet location which we appreciate. Thanks for everything. oh and by the way love the dinnerware- a little different but that's good because we are a different kind of family. LOL

House lovely with good interior layout and amenities. Parking is easy. Location excellent - can see beach horizon from front porch. Five minutes across one road to beach access. Can quickly establish feeling of home away from home. Lots of privacy and not overshadowed by neighboring homes. Stone's Throw was a great choice for 5 adults and a medium-sized canine = a happy stay in Garden City, SC. THANKS!

We rented this house for a week. Cleanest Rental Ever Rented. House had a fully furnished kitchen accompanied with everything we needed. Could hear the waves from the porch and feel the Ocean Breeze. I would rent this place again and again. Comfortable couches and very nice mattresses. Felt like home!

This home was perfect for us. It was well within our budget. It's cute, clean, and the walk to the beach was very close. We would definitely stay here again in the future! The only thing lacking in this cute little home is lighting and seating in the living room area.
- Clifford W. from Cincinnati, Posted: 11/19/2014
Stones throw is a very clean and decorated house. but is lacking in appointments like lamps in the living room no clocks in the bedrooms and short on dishes and flat wear servings for 4 yet has accommodations for 8
