Updates will include new engineered wood flooring on the top floor (living, hallway, master bedroom), fireplace facelift and repair, new windows in the entire house, plus a new 9-foot sliding door in the dining room, and a new roof; new dining room table and chairs; addition of exterior door in the upstairs family room for deck access; update wet bar in the upstairs living area with new cabinets, refrigerator, tile, and floating shelves; renovate master bedroom with raised tray ceiling, new trim, and new interior doors; renovate the master bathroom to include a large walk-in tiled shower, two new vanities, linen closet, new toilet, new mirrors, and hardware; - renovate one of the downstairs bathrooms to include an enlarged shower, new vanity, toilet, tile floor, mirror, and fixtures; open up the interior stairwell and add black metal railing; replace decking and railing on both decks, new covered porch ceiling (wood) for first-floor deck, and new composite outdoor stairs.
The Salty Dog is a five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath oceanfront home located 0.6 miles south of Garden City Pier. This home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with two microwaves, dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Three TV and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king, three queen, and four twin-sized beds (includes one trundle). Four bedrooms are en suite (feature a private bath), two bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Outdoor amenities include a covered porch, sundeck, enclosed shower with hot and cold water, rinse off station, and ample parking (six covered spots). Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.
