We loved the location. The layout and size of the unit is great. I found it to be a bit basic in the amenities compared to other properties we've stayed out. Only one ceiling fan, none in bedrooms. TV in main bedroom doesn't seem to be hooked up to cable, etc. The main bathroom tub/shower/sprayer is in bad shape, leaks. Nice beds but very odd sheets that aren't fitted and plastic mattress covers. Also, the sliding glass door in the living area has condensation in between the panes and you cannot see out if it very well. I misplaced my eyeglasses and looked under the two sofas. Clearly housekeeping has not cleaned under them in a very long time. The water heater failed on Saturday and was handled fairly quickly by Garden City Realty and had a replacement water heater in place that same evening.- Karen J. from Prince Frederick, Posted: 09/03/2025
First I was unaware that there is only one ceiling fan in the entire condo and its above the dining room table. Zero air circualation in the bedrooms. We had to go purchase a fan for one room and found a fan in a closet for the other room. We also experienced a problem with our water going out completely on Sunday, no one seemed too concerned that an entire building was without water and didn't fix it till after business opened back up on Monday morning. This was very frustrating. I will say the porch is amazing, large and the view is beautiful. This is where we spent most of our time while at the condo. Very satisfied with our “new” rental!! At the last minute our reservation had to be changed due to damage at our original rental. Robin assisted us to find a comparable unit and she did! We were so happy with our rebooked rental we want to return to it next year! We are waiting for the opportunity to book this unit for next May. Was not happy at all about no centralIr in our unit but Realty company did everything possible not to mar our vacation. Offered us 2 other beach front units to move to. Unfortunately, they were not acceptable to us. Then placed a portable air unit in the window . That iand a big box fan helped to cool apt down . Not quite the same as central air due to noise but a good compromise . The fact that there were no screens on sliders or ceiling fans did not help.

The condo was a nice setup for an older building that needs a lot of updating. The elevator didn't work when we got arrived. Which was one of our main requests, as my wife has health problems doing stairs. Then was disabled again near the end of the month with numerous resets in between. The floor wasn't locked together properly with gaps between boards. Both sliding doors leak air when the wind blows making a whistling noise. Makes sense why the owner is selling condo. The kitchen faucet leaked when we arrived, and the refrigerator crapped out on second day. The cleaning was suspect as they don't clean under furniture. Also, the deck was pretty decussating as not sure when the last time it was cleaned. It wasn't from just sand blowing from the ocean, just dirty. Parking is an issue also as people with cars are afraid to park under building, so spots for larger vehicles like ours was hard to find outside parking spots at times.
The bright side Garden City had a used replacement refrigerator there That morning. Better yet a new one arrived in two days. Adam was very courteous and resolved the faucet and refrigerator issues extremely well. The view of ocean was awesome and the grounds clean. Tom and Tony were very helpful on questions also.

location was great.place was clean. Nice to have 3 bathrooms Porch was Wonderfull. when it said you need to bring everything they were right.Besides the expected the only thing extra were a few boggie boards someone had left.The bed in the main bedroom had about a 2 inch foam pad on top of the mattress and on top of that a 2 inch memory foam pad. It made the bed too soft. I removed the foam and it was better. Having a plastic covering over the mattresses felt like I was in a cheap hotel. There has to be a better way.They need a second lamp in the master, one where you can plug in your chargers.A better coffee maker would be nice. The one there worked ok but you could not take and pour a cup when it was brewing, it would leak on the pad.Liked the couches and coffee table. We enjoyed our stay at Seasider 302. It is very nice and the perfect get away. Our only complaint was parking. There were no parking places for us for several nights of our stay and we ended up with parking tickets from parking off road and in the beach access parking. Not sure how there are supposed to be 2 cars allotted per guest when we only had one car and could not park. Just be advised that this may be a problem. We've been coming to Seasider for years -- it's a wonderful small complex, very quiet and relaxing. All the other units we've stayed in were very nice, but 302 has had its was a real mess last year (patches on holes in the wall had been started but not finished, that kind of thing). Some things were better this year (new paint and carpet), but she still shows her age. However, remember, it's at the beach and things corrode at the beach. It was a well cleaned better kept Condo.Sister in law stayed in this one. Furniture was in good shape. The only problem is that there is no guaranteed parking. You get two passes, but there are not enough spaces. You have to find off site parking somewhere or get ticketed. You shouldn't have to stress that you won't have parking if you run to the grocery store and back. If you don't care about not haveing set parking or even a spot....then it is a nice unit. Several things that I was going to point out - Master bedroom comforter needs to be washed (stain underneath), sliding glass door in living area does not lock and 1/2 BR sink stopped up and would not drain. While we were there a "pest control" man came and tried to unlock the door while we were inside. If I had not had the chain on the door, he would have come in. There were only girls inside and not all were dressed. He needs to be instructed NOT to come while rentors are present and NOT to use keys to come in. Other than this condo being in the middle of two godawful highrises - the location was great for walking to/from the pier, Causeway pizza, Conch Cafe, etc. Murrel's is a short drive for great seafood. This is the first condo we've stayed in at GC (and we've stayed in several)that had actual comfy living room furniture. Kitchen had everything we needed. We stayed here the first week of Oct. and had a great time. Yes it would benefit from some paint, but overall you have to remember it is the beach and also being rented out and it can.t be painted and new carpet every time it is rented.We enjoyed this condo and was very happy. The half bath commode does need new insides and it will cut your water bill drastically as we didn.t realize it was running all the time till it had been going all day.
