Marlin Quay 508

We LOVE the area, we have vacationed in the garden city area on south Waccamaw for the past 5 years.Very relaxing stay, beach is beautiful, the pools are refreshing! However the condo is a bit dated, beds very comfortable, fridge needs to be replaced, doors do not shut well and the drawers do not open or close well. It is the second time we have stayed in unit 508 so I guess I have to say the good outweighs the bad. The view is superb
with restaurants a short drive away at the marsh walk or head to the Quay right out front. Garden City realty is wonderful to deal with.
Can not wait for next yeaar

Loved it overall!. It was clean except the carpet needs cleaning or replacement. Could use some updated items in kitchen like pots, pans, and baking sheets. Fantastic views of the inlet and right across the street from the beach. Has a marina ship store and seafood grille as well

Master bathroom had slight smell of cigarette smoke first couple of days. There was a lot of repairs going on multiple units (not ours). Only having two entry cards for 5 adults and 2 kids, entry codes would be better. Parking was limited to two vehicles. On checkout day, only elevator in our section stopped working. More elderly or handicapped person would have been stranded until elevator had been repaired. Being on 5th floor with no elevator made getting car loaded hot sweaty work. Kitchen was not stocked with bowls, pots, pans, etc. View was very nice and under counter ice maker was big plus. However, we did book same unit for next year.

We love staying at Marlin Quay! The location and views are incredible. The condo is very spacious and clean. This is our 3rd year staying in 508. It is a little dated but everything is in good working condition and the beds are comfy.

The entire rental process was smooth & easy- from renting to departure. I love the Marlin Quay condos; they are so comfortable , nicely decorated, and always CLEAN!!!
The Garden Realty staff is top notch, excited to see us at check in, wanting the very best experience for us, always interested in how are stay was. I highly recommend Garden City for a vacation spot with Garden City Realty to help make it happen!

We had a very nice week. Condo was very clean and spacious. The condo was very dated, still has carpet in most rooms. But the cleanliness of the condo was fabulous. The parking is gated which was wonderful. Only issue with parking started midweek and our second car didn’t have parking space in the extra lot. The pools are very nice. Grounds are nice and clean. The condo has an ice maker which is wonderful.

We have rented and stayed at Marlin Quay for years. We love the location and views from these condominiums. The size and access to beach were great! There were a few things wrong with our unit but I’m sure the owners are aware. We love this location and had a great week! Marlin Quay might want to let their HOA know they have two permanent residents that are not nice to renters and very controlling of the pool areas. FYI for vacationers with teenagers who like to swim at pool and play music around the pool at night !!! Otherwise love this place !

As always Marlin Quay is a delightful place to stay - great location, beautiful views, and secure property. Winter temperatures arrived at the coast. The A/C appeared to have malfunctioned and initially we had no heat in the condo. After calling Garden City Realty, David responded quickly to the condo. Repair service was called. David, Kathy, and others kept in touch with repair updates. Re-location to another property was avoided. MQ 508 is lovely and very spacious. We hope to return. Be sure to visit Brookgreen Gardens. Sunday Brunch at Gulfstream Cafe is wonderful but make reservations !
