House is great and location is even better. We plan on staying here every year going forward. Fishing is great. There isn’t anything negative I can think to say about the place. We had a great time.

The house was wonderful and we greatly enjoyed it. The porches and ramp were a great addition for us.

We have stayed in a variety of vacation rentals in the Garden City area for several years. Our stay in Inlet Joy was the best yet!Great location... Very close to all the wonderful restaurants in Murrells Inlet! The home was a perfect balance...across the street from the ocean and located on the inlet, and it was the perfect size for our family of ten. The property was clean and well maintained. Would have loved some lighting on the dock...wasn't working during our stay, but we were still able to enjoy time on the dock. We also loved having access to the channel with the boat ramp. Will definitely stay again and will highly recommend property to others!

The location and views were perfect. Enjoyed the boat landing and dock.

Nice home, as it has been in the past. This section of Garden City Beach still had social distancing, unlike parts further North, hear the pier. Same good vacation experience.

As always FABULOUS!

Great place to stay for fishing. Had a lot of sand spurs in the carpets.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Inlet Joy. This home has both creek access and beach access directly across the street. Perfect location for those who enjoy both creek and ocean.

Excellent as always

Our trip was exceptional. Great way to have family fun. For the first tine in many years, the house was lacking in the cleanliness department. All else was terrific.
- Gary C. from Clinton, Posted: 07/28/2019
We had a very relaxing time. Enjoyed the inlet. Fishing and crabbing in our own little backyard. Should add a couple of small tables of some sort on the back and front porch to sit your drinks. Overall a nice place! Enjoyed our stay.

Inlet Joy had everything my family needed for a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean and the kitchen was spacious.

Our family vacations in Garden City almost every 4th of July. We have three children and have vacationed with them in Garden City since birth. We have added two grandchildren. They love it as much as the rest of us have. Our trip was GREAT! The only complaint we had was the the wifi/internet was extremely slow. We look forward to next year.
- Gary C. from Clinton, Posted: 07/11/2018
It was great. It had been remodeled. Only thing missing is ceiling fans on the porches. LOL
- Anonymous from Kershaw, Posted: 06/26/2018
Nice to have the dock and boat and to be able to walk across the street to the ocean. We love the marsh atmosphere. Well equipped kitchen. We will always choose Inlet Joy.

As described described in the explanation provided by Garden City Realtors. Older beach house but well maintained. Great screen rear porch. Enjoyed the newly rebuilt dock and gazebo on the creek. Boat landing/launch was a definite plus (be careful during low tide as water maybe too low to use safely). As stated, older beach house so it is a little dated and could use newer appliances, televisions, and furniture but don't let that stop you as I still love this place.

The Inlet Joy is the perfect location to enjoy both the creek and ocean. This home is very comfortable and makes for a memorable vacation. The only suggestions that I would make is to have a new mattress on the bed in the master bedroom. I saw a few roaches but some of them were dead which means that the home had been sprayed for pest control. The ceiling fans needed to be cleaned and there was no stopper for the kitchen sink. But regardless of these small suggestions, we had a wonderful week at the Inlet Joy and the staff at Garden City Realty goes over and above to make your stay pleasant. I have rented this home for two years, will probably do so again and would recommend it to anyone.

The house was nice like we remembered it a few years ago. We very much enjoyed the inlet fishing. The beach was relaxing and beautiful and not crowded. Very nice.
- Kristi C. from Chapmanville, Posted: 09/21/2017
We had a wonderful stay at Inlet Joy. The house is in a great location with the beach across the street and the creek in the backyard. Everything was clean and comfortable. Everyone at Garden City Realty were very helpful and friendly.

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Inlet Joy and hope to do this every summer. The only complaint we had was with the Wi-Fi. It was incredibly slow and was a hindrance to the entire family. The TV was also a little complicated due to the slow internet.

We had rented the same property for several years and as always had an excellent time. The location is great, close enough to everywhere we wanted to go. We dined locally and visited the Kroger food store often. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a clean and quiet home.
- Daniel B. from Spring Lake, Posted: 06/08/2017
We loved this house. Convenient to beach and inlet. Kitchen equipped with many items that we usually have to bring with us.
- Cheryl M. from Corryton, Posted: 11/29/2016
great stay, rental staff was a joy to work with .the best of both worlds, Inlet no one side beach on the other.
- Scott W. from Easley, Posted: 11/14/2016
The vacation rental is in an excellent location and well maintained.
- Anonymous from Kingstree, Posted: 09/19/2016
We have stayed here for several years and booked it for next year already.
- Anonymous from Kershaw, Posted: 07/10/2016
I'VE STAYED HERE BEFORE AND PLAN ON STAYING AGAIN....THEY KEEP THE PLACE CLEAN AND MAINTAINED...INSTEAD OF OTHERS WE HAVE STAYED IN THAT THEY LET RUN DOWN
- Leland S. from Spring Lake, Posted: 05/23/2016
We have stayed here for the past 5 or 6 years and love it. Great location. The house could have been cleaned better it had dirty floors and the fridge had a bad smell of fish and was dirty also. There is a broken rocking chair on the front porch that needs to be fixed or removed. It has been broken for the past two years.
- Frances C. from Blythewood, Posted: 08/24/2015
We really enjoy this place. The fishing, rocking on the porches and walking distance to the uncrowded ocean. Fireworks almost each night...sat on the front porch and enjoy them. We had a really great time.

OK. The 4th bedroom had no heat. Made for an unconfortable stay for that couple.
- Anonymous from Conway, Posted: 11/17/2014
The weather was great. We had a fantastic time. House location is the best. Lot of work done to outside since our stay last year. Unit needs to have new matrices installed on all the beds.
- PHILLIP E. from NESMITH, Posted: 09/08/2014
We had a good time, the weather was great. Fishing in the inlet has gotten harder due to the rental of water bikes, scuba diving boats, etc. We did enjoy being across the street from the beach, especially for the kids. The house could have been cleaner, the furniture was very dusty. I think we left it a lot cleaner than we found it.
- Peggy C. from Lexington, Posted: 07/14/2014
It was great! Only complaint was the people that came and cut the grass during our stay. I think this could be completed during the cleanup time on Saturdays. We weren't asked to move cars and grass was thrown all over the vehicles.
- Anonymous from Kershaw, Posted: 07/01/2014
My family stayed for a week and we just loved Inlet Joy. The house was clean and well decorated. We liked the location because you have access to both the beach and the channel. The only downside is the busy street. During Memorial Day weekend, a lot of beach goers were parking along the road and partially blocking driveways which made it difficult to maneuver in and out of the drive. The Realty company should consider posting Georgetown County ordinances so that vacationers can know the dos and don'ts of the locals. We will definitely rent again.
- Lynn S. from Fairfax, Posted: 06/02/2014
very nice place we really enjoyed it!
- John M. from Dalzell, Posted: 04/29/2014
Garden City Realty was very friendly and helpful with this rental.
- Lance G. from Darlington, Posted: 10/13/2013
the best of both - convenient beach access and inlet fishing. The house is "beachy" and we like that! Spacious and plenty of room for our family to spread out. The kitchen is stocked but could use a few more sharp knives. Thank you for a memorable week.

Great home, clean, had all we needed. Loved the dock. Management very responsive. Home had been updated. Absolutely no complaints. Wonderful home for a family vacation!
- Anonymous from Bulverde, Posted: 07/19/2013
The location and overall condition of the house was terrific. Being on the inlet and right across the street from the beach was very convenient for everyone's needs. The only issue was what is considered the 4th bedroom, which we referred to as the cave. Being located off the back porch, very small, the door wouldn't stay shut and having to lock it with a deadbolt wasn't what we expected but isn't a deal killer. The only other issue I had was when I checked out, I was not greeted or thanked for using Garden City Realty. The fact is I told them which property is was and I got an "OK". If they had been busy at the time I would understand, but I was the only guest in there.
- Hope S. from Rock Hill, Posted: 07/02/2013
The house is right across the street from the beach and having the inlet in the backyard is great!
- Anonymous from Lexington, Posted: 06/02/2013
Great location. Loved the Inlet Joy beach house. Had the charm of the older style open living/dining area beach houses with screened rear deck overlooking the beautiful marsh and open air front deck looking at the ocean. Great parking for 6 vehicles beneath the house. House could have used a few "newer" appointments as they were "dated" (showing some wear and tear, i.e. couch, table and benches, etc). One or two of the screens had come undone which will allow insects (mosquitos and sand nats) in during warm weather. Boat ramp and floating dock/gazebo dock were really nice with a sink to clean fish. I would definately stay at Inlet Joy again. Thank you to the homeowners as we enjoyed entertaining our friends from Kansas and Charleston, SC in your vacation home.

We enjoyed our time at this house. Has everything you need
- Teresa D. from Martinez, Posted: 04/08/2013
I've never stayed at the beach in September before, but I must stay it was great. Having your own boat ramp was excellent. The dock was in good shape and we spent many hours fishing there. Havomg a half bath in the laundary room was excellent. It meant that you did not have to run upstairs from the dock. The house itself felt very spacious. The shell displays were fun. The two upstairs bath were large for this type of beach house layout. Some may say the house was dated, but to us it was fine. Located across the street from the beach and beach access only made it better.
- Bridget B. from Lugoff, Posted: 09/28/2012
the best of the oceanfront and inlet fishing with the added bonus of perfect weather. We were small in numbers, yet plan to come again and take advantage of all the space the house has to offer. We definitely like a "real" beach house! Great shell collection.
- Anonymous from Columbia, Posted: 09/23/2012
We really enjoyed our stay. It was a clean and neat old beach house. Just needs new pillows, bedspreads and more kitchen utensils, only one knife and one large spoon???
- Julie K. from Sumter, Posted: 07/24/2012
My brothers and I came down for bike week not knowing what to expect and it turned out to be in the perfect spot. It was clean quiet and felt like we were at home.
- Daniel P. , Posted: 05/30/2012
The location suits all the needs of my family, with a boat ramp, and dock on inlet for me. Close walk to beach, right across the street, for others. Walmart, Murrells Inlet, Bait shop 5-10 mins. away. Myrtle Beach, shopping 30 mins. away. Suits all our needs at a great price, enjoyed our stay. Thanks Steven C.

The Cathey's could not have left one body of water where we live and gone anywhere more perfect! Inlet Joy was clean, spacious, comfortable and the private boatramp with the dock was the best!
