Atalaya Tower 1406

The Atalaya is a very pleasant place with lots of amenities. The staff is always on hand and readily available if needed.
The condo was very nice, with plenty of storage space. With the side windows, the view is magnificent. The only two downsides were that we were unable to watch a movie on the DVD player in the living room and, more importantly, the mattress in the second bedroom with only one bed was very uncomfortable, by far the worst mattress I have ever had.

This is our second time staying at Atalaya Towers. Its a great location in a much quieter area for visiting myrtle beach and we love being so close to the pier. The condo itself was very clean. The mattress in the master bedroom needs replaced and is very uncomfortable but other than that we would stay there again. I'm sure we will be staying at Atalaya Towers again in the future.

The location really made this amazing... literally steps to the beach! The property overall was alright and I would be willing to try a different condo in the building. I am a little concerned about the housecleaning, when leaving you must strip bedding all but the pillow shams and mattress covers. This is common and we have done this many other places without issue. But we arrived and at least 2 pillow shams on beds were covered in what looked like snot. This made us worried about when if ever the shams and mattress covers get washed. It was gross. Also the parking policy is not great,you get 2 spots- one in the main lot and one in the overflow. We never once in 7 days were able to park in the main lot, I assume this is due to others not following the rule of only one vehicle in the main lot but we had a senior citizen with us who required a closer spot. Overall, we had a great time and being so close to the beach was AMAZING! this condo did have a broken chair and one bed seemed to be broken as well. We would return but would try a different condo and will wash the pillow shams on arrival! Again, location, location, location... you can't beat that!

Overall the property needs some upgrades. The master bath is nice, but the second bath is not. The electric range needs to be replaced and the cupboards replaced. The furniture throughout the unit need to be replaced, and the bedrooms flooring should be updated.

Unit 1406 in Atalaya Towers was clean and roomy enough for the 8 of us. Besides a few kitchen gadgets (like scissors) not being available, the condo had all we needed. The pools were always clean. The main toilet in the condo did often run a lot, I'd have to take the tank lid off and giggle stuff around and then it would stop. Other than that, nothing else was wrong with the condo

The unit is great for our family of 8. The location is perfect. It is very well equipped with necessary items, especially in the kitchen. However the beds and pillows need to be replaced, in the 2 smaller bedrooms. They are extremely uncomfortablge! We have stayed in this unit for 2 years, and are booked for next year.

overall it was another great way to spend the winter. the weather was good, however wetter than usual. We were impressed with the upgrades in the condo, but more is needed. The bathrooms need to be refurbished.

We loved our week at the beach. So relaxing.
The unit's kitchen was very well supplied.
However, the beds weren't comfortable. Also, the bed that was advertised as queen was a double. The carpet is badly worn, thread bare in several places. Loved the large corner balcony. It would have been nice if the second elevator was working.

The view from the 14th floor was amazing. Condo was neat and clean. Had everything we needed. Would be nice to a recliner in there. Other then that great place

We were moved from another location which was in very poor condition and also the pool wasn't available for use. Atalaya was very nice and well maintained. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The room was perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids. It was clean and everything was in working order. The view was breath taking. The location was perfect. You didn't have to go far to find a restaurant, shopping, arcade, or entertainment. We will definitely be coming back next year.

The condo was clean and nice for the stay and I had only one concern. The concern was that I had confusion on where to pick up the keys from. It could have been a little clearer. Even with that, the staff got me through my paperwork quickly and got me on my way.

We enjoyed our stay at Atalaya Tower 1406 very much. We spent 10 wonderful days there. The unit was in excellent condition and well sized and equipped for 5 adults. We liked its close proximity to Murrell's Inlet where we dined several times, as well as easy access to Brookgreen Gardens and Charleston.
