Beach House 217

Rented entire month of Feb. Trip delayed 3 days due to "worst snow storm in area in decade." Apt smaller than expected, about the size of a lg size camper trailer. Apt clean and neat. Apt dated but appliances newer. Only cold water for wash machine. If elderly or slightly handicapped, highly recommend you look for a place with an elevator. We purchased cockroach traps after spotting a few in the apt. Realty would have sprayed if we had asked. Grandson & parents visited for weekend. They were not allowed to park at apt although 15+ spaces were open in lot the entire weekend! Great location, not as busy as Myrtle Beach. Great restaurants and shopping nearby. Would recommend that you check with your own insurance company before purchasing the useless travel insurance offered by the Realty.

2nd year stay same place. Right on the beach so have views rain or shine. Short drive to great restaurants, never having to go out on hwy 17. House furnishings are nice with larger Smart TV in main living space. Will have to provide own condiments if eating in since not really any available. Very close to grocery stores, ice cream shops, breakfast goodies.... Would gladly stay there again!

The first 3 days in this condo we experienced some unfortunate issues. We were able to connect with Drew McElveen owner of Garden City Realty. Drew set us up in another Condo and worked tirelessly to get a 3 day refund to us. Although we had some issues Drew's attention to detail and great customer service restored faith in Garden City Realty.

Great location. Convenient! The 2nd bedroom was not vacuumed nor was the porch carpet. We had to vacuum it ourselves. There was sand and crumbs all over. We were disappointed. I would stay here again.

We were given information on Garden City Beach House from a friend who also vacations at the same location. We had a very pleasurable experience in dealing with the rental staff and never had an issue. I had questions prior to the visit that were always answered in a very timely fashion. We will come back some day.

Check in/out process is great. On arrival, Precision Towing was blocking the parking area and stalking like a something creepy. Unable to get a parking space near the stairs, I began to unload. After getting the parking pass from the condo, I placed it in position and finished my trips up for the week. Garden City Realty called and stated that we did not have the correct color parking pass and Precision would tow our car if we did not come immediately to them for another...which they did not have. I was given a pass for a property that was 4 buildings north plus a public access. So my wife and I had to walk across multiple properties every time we went somewhere. Terrible inconvenience. Our condo was old, but clean and comfortable. It was convenient to the beach and has a very nice deck and pool area. Was not happy with Garden City's handling of this situation

We liked the condo, location and view. Unit could use some
E updating. Shower door rusty and hard to slide. No ceiling fans. Maintenance man entered unit while we were out. We came back finding him leaving. No one called to let us know. (I would have hit jewelry etc) he didn’t even leave a work order or note that he was there. Other than that it was clean and right on the ocean.

We have 3 boys (11, 4, 2), and it was a perfect fit. There was a cozy living space to settle together in the evening. But also enough room to spread out.

A relaxing vacation home right off the beach
Me and my husband had a wonderful week staying in the house. It is right off the beach, you have the view of the beach from deck, living room, and mast bedroom. Beautiful sunrise each morning and Moon rise at night. Kitchen is equipped with utensils. Walking on the beach whenever you like. The condominium also has a swimming pool, outdoor showers, and water hoses so that you can clean yourself after beach. This house is continently located and you can walk to several good restaurants, and ice cream shops. We love it would come back.

Lovely view of the ocean directly off the balcony and the living room. There is a wonderful pool and decking available to sit and soak up the sun if you did not want the beach. Has hoses to rinse off your feet and beach equipment upon return to your space. Had all the kitchen equipment you would need for cooking but no spices or condiments. The bathroom in the hall was older but still did the job. Had an issue with the screen patio door upon arrival and called the realty company and maintenance personnel came with an hour or two and fixed it. Was very professional and courteous. There were towels for each person and bedding for sleeper couch. There are numerous restaurants just down the road along with grocery stores and gas stations. The realty company provided an entertainment booklet for things to do and see in the area. Went to Stella’s on business 17 for ice cream and to the pizza and Mexican place just down the condo road and to Little River Cafe at the same area. Do not have to go out to business 17 to enjoy these restaurants. Oh, and had a closet with beach equipment. Would check with the company to see what all they have. We used our own. Would return again.

A friend and I stayed and it was thr perfect size. I think it would be perfect for up to 4 people. The only complaint is we saw quite a few big bugs during out stay. Realty company was notified.

We have rented from Garden City previously and always had a good experience. I loved staying at Beach House. The kids loved the pool and the beach access is amazing. The parking lot is tight and the HOA residents call for towing a couple times a day so make sure you have your pass up or you will get towed. We watched people everyday get towed away.
We will absolutely be renting again.

We had a wonderful experience. The condo is close to everything and beach was fantastic. We watched the sunset come up every morning from the balcony and watched the sunset by the pool. Great vacation and R & R! Thank you

BH217 is very nice. Perfect view and distance from the ocean. Not too far from the pier and main business area but far enough that you can't hear the music at night. Beds are very comfortable. We would definitely look to stay here again.
