Rusty Pelican

This year was another amazing year at the Rusty Pelican. This was our 3rd year. Dishing is great views are spectacular!The pool was good just a little low on water Can't wait for next year!

Home was very nice. We loved the inlet side porch it was the perfect view We enjoyed the pool and especially fishing. Nice home and good location.

Our family was incredibly happy to be back in Garden City after spending the past two years at Cherry Grove. Garden City Realty staff was outstanding in guest services. There were a couple of issues, but we were more than satisfied with how everything was handled.Rental property location was excellent and property owners have put the $$$ in the outside amenities. Pool,lounging areas,huge covered dock, plus
floating dock were exactly what we wanted. Furniture in living room needs cleaning, especially white fabric sofa. Finish on hardwood floors are in rough shape. Bathrooms are very small, especially stand alone shower is
tiny. But, overall workable.Weekly rental rate is a lot, so I expect a lot in return. Would rent this house again, if properly cleaned.

We had a wonderful family vacation in this home. We all especially loved the covered porch overlooking the Inlet, the floating dock , and the swimming pool. The house was clean , beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to make meals. Location is great and just a short distance to the beach access. Would definitely stay here again.

This was the fourth year that we rented this property, but first during second week of June. It wasn’t as hot as in previous years when we rented the last week. My grandchildren ranging in age from 10-14 loved it due to its location on the Canal and closeness to the beach. The swimming pool was definitely a plus! Overall we had a great time and have booked it again for next year.

The Rusty Pelican is an amazing home! Great location for fishing with or without a boat! The outside of the house is a virtual oasis! We will be back again next yr for the 3rd time. The count down is on!!!

My family is all about fishing, this place is amazing for that. We caught shrimp, flounder, baby squid ( of course we let them go just let the grand baby watch them for a bit and touch them) blow fish, along with others. The back porch is wonderful, the pool was very nice and warm, just steps away from the amazing dock. We had our 6 yr old granddaughter and she played in the pool while we fished on the dock and I could see her the whole time. The house is nice, and any issues we had during our stay, upon calling they had all issues taken care of in very prompt time.( ex.last renters left the trash cans full) when called they came in their personal truck and removed it. Rental company was amazing to work with.... I would highly recommend garden city rentals and this property!!!!

This was one of the greatest vacations for our family!! Great house! Pool was terrific and a great pool team response after the storm! Great location for fishing! We were even able to ride out Tropical Storm Idalia. We will be back next year for sure!!

This is our 3rd year at the Rusty Pelican and we've already put our deposit down for next year. The amenities that this house offers makes it special. The pool, the gazebo, the downstairs kitchen. The upstairs porch is great with a view of the marsch.

The pool was a big hit again for our four grandchildren as well as the 5 adults. The house was very nice with lots of room and a great view. Fishing and shrimping right at or near the dock was a plus. We have already booked this rental again for next Year.

This property was ideal for my family with all our grand boys. They loved the dock and was able to fish all day. The downstairs area was perfect. We set up our kitchen ther. I would spend most of the day downstairs.

We just returned from Rusty Pelican and loved it. The inlet view is just amazing and the home is decorated beautifully. It's also an easy walk to the beach. There are a few things that need improvement, such as new shower heads and a large nonstick skillet in the kitchen, but otherwise the house is great. We had a couple of maintenance issues and Garden City Realty was very responsive. We highly recommend Rusty Pelican and Garden City Realty!

This was our second year at the Rusty Pelican and we have already put a deposit down for next year. the house is perfect for our family. We bring our boat and the dock is great. Also the pool is a nice size and the decks and Gazebo are just extras.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rusty Pelican. The only problem we had was having only 2 bathrooms but we made it work. The outdoor amenities more than made up for it! The outdoor area is beautiful! We would definitely stay there again!!

Great week with children and grandchildren. Pool was a hit as well as comfortable accommodations, and fishing from dock.
The kitchen lacked a broiler pan, cookie sheet, and measuring spoons. Was disappointed that the house was not ready for occupancy until 7:00 PM on day of arrival.

We have rented from Garden City Realty for the past 2 years and have already reserved the Rusty Pelican for our 2022 vacation. It is the perfect house, great location and amenities. The Rental company is great to deal with (friendly and professional). We had an issue with the pool and within 15 minutes the pool company arrived. Looking forward to 2022 at the Rusty Pelican.
