We stayed at waters edge for 2 weeks this year. It is always the most relaxing time. The location is perfect. The condo is very clean. Tge people at garden city reality are wonderful to work with

The unit was very clean and well stocked. It had a musty smell when we first arrived but it went away. It is an older condo but had new appliances and furniture. The bathrooms could use some updating but all in all we enjoyed it very much.

The condo was clean and comfortable. I would suggest an update to appearance. And it sleeps 4 but only 2 balcony chairs. View is amazing.

Had a great time. Condo could use updating. We were aware that the pool area was closed. However all the other condos along the beach already had their pools fixed. Didn't see any progress being made on ours.

The room was very nice, recently updated tastefully, very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I had a slight problem with the a/c but it was fixed within two hours of calling the realty office. Took a long time to check in, but given the time of year and lack of help, I understand. The elevators definitely need updated at the Resort; but that it is out of the realty's hand. There are only two and one kept breaking down. Also, there is not a lot of lawn chairs by the pool for so many units.

We had a mixed experience staying here. The property was oceanfront & fairly clean overall, but bathrooms were outdated & the unit needs to be painted. The furnishings were nice enough with a very comfortable bed. Garden City Realty gave us inaccurate information by telling us there would be NO starter supplies, but there was paper towel, TP, soap, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, dish towels & cloths provided. There was a leaky toilet & shower, so we were only able to use 1 shower until plumber arrived the next day. The condo complex shut down the air conditioning for repairs, so our last 2 days we had NO AIR CONTIDIONING, & it was 80 inside unless we opened both patio & front door for a breeze to cool to 77. The Realty offered no discount & offered no fans for cooling. There are no ceiling fans, either. The unit was well equipped with dishes, glasses & pots & pans, but there was no can opener. Also, the placemats were full of mold & mildew & unusable!! In spite of following the written directions, we could not get the TV to work & got a message that there was "no signal".
The condo is close to multiple restaurants, including the Marsh Walk area, as well as close to Brookgreen Gardens & Huntington Beach State Park. There is also a grocery store & drug store close by. There were 2 beach chairs provided, and the beach is nice. If you want to spend time in Myrtle Beach, though, that is about a 30 min. drive to the North.

have stayed at waters edge for over 25 years 1 time stated at myrtle beach for a cheaper place still ocean front will never stay anywhere else again love everything about waters edge will request 709 everytime going thru garden city realty was so much better than thru waters edge as i have always done in the past will only use garden city reality in future already talking about how soon we can go back trying to go again this year
