Sea Oaks 201

My stay was wonderful. Becuase I was there (alone) for business and not leisure I was not able to fully enjoy the property. However, I was overall pleased with all aspects of it and would recommend it highly.

We come every year for a youth retreat at Garden City Chapel and Retreat Center. We enjoy staying off campus in a condo nearby. Garden City Realty has been so good at accommodating our location to the Retreat Center. Pam has been a great agent for us!

This condo has the perfect location! Ocean front, clean pool, clean building, clean condo, and the master bed was way too comfortable! Away from the hustle and bustle, but within driving distance of some great attractions.

We had a great time.
Positive: The owners provided plenty of dishes, a bookshelf of books, games, and even some kids beach toys. Nice touches! The carpet was in good shape in the hallway and bedrooms. The balcony was one of the only ones that jutted out enough to see the ocean which was very nice. The condo stayed quiet to road noise. We thought the beds were comfortable (twins and King). The pull out couch is the nicest I've seen. My youngest slept there and said it was comfortable. Kitchen was a nice size and extra seating at the bar was needed and appreciated with a family of 5. The bathrooms were a great size (the back shower was very small) but the actual space to move around in the bathroom was good. There is a beach access lot one condo away. It had about 7 parking spots.
The negatives: Very low lighting because there are no overhead light fixtures, no overhead fans, the main bedroom does not have very good air flow so it was warmer than the rest of the condo (even after adjusting vents), there are no bathroom fans, there ARE heat lights in the bathroom which when accidentally turned on heat up the whole condo (so watch that), the beach at high tide here is quite shallow. So at low tide there's room for lots of people - but at high tide it's pretty crowded. No tents allowed in this county on the beach (that included the "cabana" type and the Shibumi (although that may change) This is summer 2023. The hall air return (I guess) tended to be noisy. It didn't bother us really bc it didn't stay on for long periods of time...but at night in bed I would hear it. There is no bathroom downstairs near the pool/beach area. You cannot park a vehicle with a top cargo carrier under the overhang parking - we always had a spot in the general parking area - but we went after school started back.

The condo itself was nice. The balcony could use some comfortable seating since we spent a lot of time out ther because of rain. The building had no lights in the stairwell that we used and multiple days there was trash piled up underneath where you had to walk to pool and beach.

-Pam from Garden City Realty was wonderful! Our initial property was sold and she found us a replacement right away.
-The only negative thing I can say about the property is that we were missing a top sheet on one of the twin beds. As we supplied our own I did not contact the property management but I’m sure they would have provided one if we had asked.

We enjoyed the comfort of this small condo. It is somewhat dated, but we’ll-maintained. The owners have provided everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would suggest providing some fans for future tenants.

We have been tenants in Unit 201 for 2 months and have one more to go. Our experience has been wonderful. The unit is a bit dated, yet has all the conveniences needed. The cleaning service that was used prior to our move- in really did a great job. The location is perfect. A big plus is the washer and dryer in the unit. I would recommend this unit.

We are renting Sea Oaks unit 201 for 3 months. Thus far, we have had a great experience. The unit is small, but ample for my husband and me. Everything you need ( especially a washer and dryer) is provided for comfort. This is a quiet community this time of year, and the proximity to the beach is a real plus for walkers. The unit is a bit dated, but it is clean and has been well-maintained. It was a really good find for us, and I would come here again in a heartbeat.

Overall a great vacation. Side view of the ocean was fine. Only draw back was very small shower in the master bathroom but I would definitely rent this unit again.

We have been coming to the Myrtle Beach area for 10-15 years. This was, by far, our favorite place we have stayed. It was quiet at night, not as much traffic, seemed more "family friendly".

Our long time condo rental sold this year, so we had to find a new one to rent. With the help of an GCR agent, we were able to this unit. Found it to be a nice unit witb full size washer/dryer, comfy bed and nice location.

The property description on website was accurate. The unit could stand an upgrade in regards to mattresses and pillows. The one big downfall was internet access. We didn't have internet access for 3 days, but I do appreciate Carey working diligently to get the problem resolved. All that being said, I would still recommend the property. Garden City Realty is always great to with. We visited Broadway at the Beach & ate at Bubba's Fish Shack & Russell's; both places serve delicious food with large portions.

Have stayed in several units in the Sea Oaks complex over the years. This is one of the nicest. Unit was clean with many updates. Nice bar-height table and chairs on the porch. Will definitely try to get this same unit again for future stays.

The condo was nice. However, the beds were not very comfortable and the mattress on the sofa sleeper was barely a mattress. I would also recommend fans in the bathrooms - it gets very humid when more than one person showers. Overall, it was a very good experience and you can't beat the location.

Condo complex was in a very convenient and in nice area. The pool and beach were an exceptional treat as they were directly beside each other. The condo unit itself was clean, efficient, maintained, and nicely decorate. My only wish was that we would have been a bit closer to the elevator with 3 children.

We love staying at this Condo. Location and cleanliness is exceptional. The only complaints we have are the refrigerator and the mattresses on the sofa bed is unusable and the mattresses on the twin beds are hard. We have rented this unit two years in a row but may try another because of the mattresses.

This place is really nice and I would stay here again..... as long as the King bed is replaced. The only thing that hasn't been updated in this rental is the master bedroom's King bed... it's bad, real bad. Loved everything else about the place, though.
