Though it is located a short drive from the beach(approx. 5 mins), this house provides access to the best of Litchfield Beach and Pawleys Island. Litchfield beach parking(south) is available anywhere on the side of the road as long as you are not parked of the road-side of the distinct "white line," in front of a fire hydrant, or between signs saying "no parking." Litchfield beach parking(north) and Pawleys Island parking is available via public parking accesses that are clearly marked.
Pound Sand is a four-bedroom, three-bath house located 11.1 miles south of Garden City Realty in Pawleys Island. This second row, inlet view property features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans throughout. Five TVs (55-inch Samsung in living room, 32-to-43-inch TVs in bedrooms), including three with Roku and one with Amazon Fire TV (master bedroom), plus Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include two queen and four twin-sized beds, plus two queen-sized sleeper sofas (one in loft). Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located just north of Litchfield Beach in Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.
Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.
