Overall we had a nice stay. The carpets need cleaning and the tile floor is cracked and our feet were black from walking on it. Just needs a general cleaning.

The house was a close walk to the beach. The pool was clean and private with the marsh behind the property.

We had a wonderful time staying at license to chill. It was located inna wonderful spot on the marsh and only a block from the beach.
- Anonymous from Versailles, Posted: 09/19/2018
The house & pool are wonderful! Unfortunately, we had to evacuate for Florence on Tuesday & didn't get near enough time there. We look forward to trying it again next year. We have rented through GCR for many years & their service was great, as always. Thanks.

Great view, great pool, short walk to the beach, pet friendly. The house was the right size for our vacation - 3 families - 9 people. We will hope to book the house for net year.
- Sheila B. from Westerville, Posted: 07/24/2018
We have stayed in License to Chill for several years now. We love the location and the layout of the house for our extended family. Enjoy the pool! Great house for a family vacation!
- Tonda R. from Brandon, Posted: 07/23/2018
This was our six year at this location and we hope to be able to stay next year also. The location is great, we enjoyed having a private pool. Management was easy to work with.
- Brandi M. from Fayetteville, Posted: 07/23/2018
License to chill is a beautiful home and its location is absolutely perfect. The constant breeze off the marsh makes a relaxing experience without out some of the wind that you get off the ocean front. The house is beautiful inside and out and met all our needs. Some of the folks in our party don't like the beach and some of us love the beach so this house gave us all the luxury of being where we wanted to be... the pool is spectacular and I would highly recommend this house for anyone with a large group of people who just want to relax and have a good time.. I also recommend renting a golf cart to get to and from the beach.. it makes all the difference in the world!

Our family rented this place for a family vacation, it is a nice place to stay, walking distance to the beach, the house is very quiet, it has its own private pool. 4 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 downstairs, has a fullly equiped kitchen, and a washer and dryer, a great home away from home, great for any family getaway, the only draw back would be for people who can't climb steps, but great for everyone else.

Had a very enjoyable stay at Licensed to Chill.

Great location, clean and spacious rental.
- Anonymous from Baltimore, Posted: 09/02/2017
The rental was fabulous. The house is very welcoming. Everything you need for a great vacation was there. It's a short walk to beach and when you just want to take a leisurely day and read a book sit next to the pool. It is very peaceful there. Can't wait to go back.

This is the second year we have stayed in a License to Chill. We were excited to see that a second King bed had been added. We would like to see a larger refrigerator in the unit. The location is great and there is ample parking for 6 vehicles. We would recommend this unit to others.
- Anonymous from Chambersburg, Posted: 07/06/2017
We enjoyed our family vacation very much at License to chill. There were good pans for cooking, enough silverware and dishes for a large group (14) and the furnishings were attractive.
- Graham D. from Glendora, Posted: 06/05/2017
Went down for bike week. Plenty of parking, clean rooms, great location with a nice pool. Everything was nice until we came back to the house Friday night after being out for 12 hours, and we found that the air conditioner had stopped working sometime during the day. The second floor bedrooms were almost 80 degrees. It was too late to have any body come out to look at the ac unit by the time we got back in. Other than that, we enjoyed the property very much.

Perfect location. Short walk to the beach. House had plenty of room and very clean gloved the pool

My father, brothers and sister, and their spouses stayed for a week at License to Chill (No children or Grandchildren:). The house was perfect. It was very clean, well stocked and the private pool was absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend this house for its location and cleanliness and the views from the porches are beautiful!!
- Steve P. from Hamilton, Posted: 08/29/2016
The house was great for our large family. Walking distance to beach, pier and some restaurants. Only downside was the grass was very high on Saturday but they came on Monday to cut it. They also check the pool 3 times during the week, which was great. Would go back for sure.
- Sheila B. from Westerville, Posted: 08/15/2016
This is the house that our family, 15 & growing, return to each summer for our family vacation. We love the layout of the house with bedrooms to the front and living areas to the back overlooking the pool and the marsh. Perfect yard for having meals outside and playing games or just visiting with each other. We all love having the pool to cool off in after a day on the beach. Looking forward to our family vacation here in 2017!

Excellent! 7th year in a row at the same property...
- Tonda R. from Brandon, Posted: 07/25/2016
The house had been recently remodeled with new furniture. This was our fifth year in this location because we love " License to Chill". It is close to the beach, has a private pool, lots of bedrooms, and now with the upgrades is even better.
- Kathi P. from Frostburg, Posted: 07/20/2016
While there were a few small issues with the house, overall it was a great place for our family. The view of the Marsh was exceptional and we loved the pool. We were a large group of 16 family members ranging in age from 2 - 62, so the refrigerator was a little small but we made do. We did have an issue with the air conditioning one evening, but we called the rental agent and they sent out a technician that evening and he took care of the problem even though it was 10 pm! The house was exactly as the pictures portrayed and was clean and very comfortable.

Clean , our family all stayed here and it has anything that you would want in a vac. property, we will be staying here again !!

Overall our stay was wonderful, we have stayed here 3 years in a row! Only a few minor complaints, yard not maintained, iron board broken...I do feel that the house could be maintained a little better, but for the most part we feel like this is our second home:)
- Linda R. from Woodbridge, Posted: 08/31/2015
very quiet neighborhood, backs to a beautiful marsh with wonderful wildlife... so peaceful. The house is gorgeous, clean, roomy with all the amenities. You can't go wrong in this rental
- Sheila B. from Westerville, Posted: 08/11/2015
Love staying at Licence to Chill for family vacation! Bedrooms are located away from the kitchen/living area for early or late sleepers. Kitchen was well equipped (minus a blender). Pool was well maintained but could use some new poolside furniture as one of the only 2 chairs was broken. This has become our family's beach vacation home each summer as we all come together for the week!
- Tonda R. from Brandon, Posted: 07/27/2015
This is our fourth stay at License to Chill. We love the location. The house is roomy, was clean, and we enjoyed the private pool. The sofas and king mattress are worn and need to be replaced .
- Anonymous from Dublin, Posted: 07/06/2015
the house was very nice. you could walk to the beach and the pool was great. the view of the marsh was beautiful from the top balcony.

Five's all the way around. Beautiful place, good location, and very spacious with lots of amities.
- Anonymous from Lewisville, Posted: 06/01/2015
This home is an excellent choice for a family vacation. Our kids loved playing in the pool. The short walk (5 minute stroll) to the beach was well worth the discount of not staying oceanfront. The inlet views are nice, especially at dawn and dusk.
- Ken C. from Columbia, Posted: 05/11/2015
We've been coming to the Garden Area since Hugo. For the most part have stayed with Garden City Realty properties and have never been disappointed. This house was no exception. Well maintained and wonderful view.

We're from Columbia, SC and we come down to Garden City frequently. "License to Chill" was as advertised. Excellent view on the marsh. 6 Bedrooms everything clean and no negative issues
- Maria L. from Martinsville, Posted: 10/07/2014
This house was a great fit for our group. The only issue we had was a large amount of trash in the outside trash cans that appeared to have been left from the prior renters. The realty company was unable to assist with this and basically we just had to wait until the next trash pickup day which was the last day of our stay. the street the house is on is close to the beach and very quiet during the this time of year. The yard and pool were great. The house was basically clean, the floors were clean but the baseboards were dirty and there were dust bunnies in the bedrooms in some of the corners. We were told by a cleaning crew that that type of cleaning was only done in the spring. Everything else was very satisfactory and we enjoyed this house and will consider renting again next year. Another plus was the ease of dealing with Garden City Realty- they were very efficient and the rental process was very easy.
- Anonymous from Gibsonia, Posted: 09/08/2014
The rental process was easy. All paperwork was done on line. I was able to have someone other than myself pick up the keys. Several of us were coming in from different states at different times.
- Cathy F. from Pulaski, Posted: 08/24/2014
we had a wonderful time. slightly misleading on how closethe house was to the beach. the layout was great we had plenty of room.only thing that didn't work was the pool light.
- Tonda R. from Brandon, Posted: 08/20/2014
Went well as usual . We live this so much, it is our third year. One woman lost her diamond engagement ring. When the pool cleaner found it, he was honest and returned it. This is a great place to stay and I wish we could have stayed longer.
- Holly Turkovic or Robert M. from Mc Keesport, Posted: 07/21/2014
We loved this beach house! The yard, view, and pool was the best part of the place. And the walk to the beach was minimal, so that's always a bonus! Everything was very clean and the rental agency folks were helpful. There were only a few minor issues, which most of them were taken care of right away.
- Joseph T. from Sandy Springs, Posted: 07/07/2014
5th time at the same property....love the location...pool size is just right...reported problem with refrigerator door last year - still not fixed this year...
- Kim C. from Westerville, Posted: 06/23/2014
We all enjoyed the property. My only concern was the amount of ants and ant hills in the backyard. Ants were crawling around the pool all the time.
- Brandy R. from Union, Posted: 06/13/2014
This is the second time our family has stayed in this same house. We loved it the first time and this time too. The house had been kept up very well. Some rooms had been painted and all the carpet had been replaced in the home. It was maintained very well! We would def stay there again.
- Adeyemi G. from Killeen, Posted: 05/20/2014
I got this vacation rental for my Fiancee's birthday weekend with some of our close friends and family members... All i can say is that the house was absolutely perfect... It was centrally located to everything you wanted to do within town and was also like 5mins walking distance to the beach... We all absolutely love the renatl property and would most definitely recommend this place to everyone.

License to chill was an outstanding venue for our family get-together. It was the first time in years that we were able to get everyone together for a vacation. The location was great and everyone had a great time. They are planning for next year already. What a great place.

We found this house a couple years ago and it's a perfect place for our extended family of 14. Every couple (6) has their own space and the common space is ample and situated away from the bedrooms. The pool area is nice and we have most of our meals out by the pool each night. Nice yard for playing games in the evening. And the view of the marsh behind the house is spectacular! We feel like we're the only ones around. Plan to continue coming to this home for our Family Beach Vacation each year!
- Anonymous from Chesterfield, Posted: 06/04/2013
This house was just about perfect. We stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Our only two negative comments would be, we wish the pool had the option of being heated (it was pretty cold the first few days) and we wish there was a grill. (There was a little park-style grill thing, but you'd have to bring your own charcoal and it's outside, uncovered...we didn't want to use it.) Otherwise, our stay was great, and the proximity to the beach was great!
- Amanda R. from Keyser, Posted: 05/20/2013
We had a great time while on vacation in Garden City. Our rental home, License to Chill, was nicely furnished and had plenty of amenities. The only thing that was lacking was the TV channel, ID, for the ID addicts in the house! Lol! Seriously, though, all six couple enjoyed the house.

We stayed July 28th thru August 4th. We had 8 adults and 8 kids, there was plenty of room, we loved this house and really enjoyed the pool. Kitchen was well equipped, air conditioning was great, we never got hot. I wish I had the beds at my house, very comfortable. Loved watching the wild life over the marsh, and there was never any bad odors from it. I highly recommend this house. The only bad thing that happened was my husband became sick and spent 3 days in the hospital.

This was our 7th year at "License to Chill"--it was great as always! We will be back!
- Anonymous from Fredericksburg, Posted: 07/23/2012
We rented License to Chill to spend a week with our kids and grandkids. We were luck enough to get another house because there were 23 of us. During the day everyone was in the house and it was great. Plenty of room and great pool. Our ages ranged from 2 to 79. We would rent this house again. There are two complaints....first there was no grill. It would have been nice to have a grill so we could do hamburgers and hot dogs. Also we never found the beaters for the mixer. We found two mixers but no beaters. Other than that it was perfect.
- Tonda R. from Brandon, Posted: 07/16/2012
We were very pleased with the location and the cleanliness of the house. One set of sheets did not fit, but when we called a different set of sheets was brought within minutes. Everyone was kind and helpful. We are looking forward to coming back next year.
- Joseph T. from Sandy Springs, Posted: 07/09/2012
This was our third annual stay at License to Chill. All 14 of us had a great time. My only request would be to add a bar-b-que so we could cook outdoors near the pool.
- Anonymous from Roanoke, Posted: 06/11/2012
One of the best and well equipped homes in Garden City.
- Carl L. from Williamsville, Posted: 06/03/2012
We had a wonderful time during our family's...3 generations...stay in May 2012. The house was clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for our family group. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were large and had plenty of counter and storage space. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked so it was easy to cook for our family. We loved the the balconies and the private pool and both had plenty of seating. We spent alot of time at outside swimming, relaxing, reading and enjoying conerstations. We enjoyed the unobstructed views of the marsh and the abundent wildlife were fun to watch. The beach was only a short walk away. We had a terrific time and made special family memories. A nice addition to the property would be rocking chairs and a charcoal grill...previous rentals had these...but that didn't diminish our enjoyment of this house.

Not a biggie, but we would have enjoyed some rocking chairs on the deck - everything else was great!
