Our 14 th year staying in this unit...that says it all. It is our home away from home.

Thank you Mary for making it happen.

Wonderful birthday,best I ever had.
- Todd R. from Wexford, Posted: 09/02/2019
Major improvement from the previous year with getting our room at 1pm vs 6pm and major lines like the past. 1 complaint the deck slants, needs a new floor. Upset about the raise in deposit for tentative reservation with no communication until I said I wanted to reserve 2 units again.
As a side note, there were a few dead roaches in the property, we did not see any live ones though!

This was our first stay at Waterforde 104 and it did not disappoint. Upon arrival we found a bag of necessities (to, paper towels, dw soap, laundry soap) that we would normally have to go out and buy. The condo itself was well appointed and had everything we needed for meal time prep and cooking. The pool was wonderful and location is so close to so many great things to do. If we happen to be traveling as a small group next year, we will definitely be back!

We are timeshare owners and usually stay at Wachesaw Plantation Golf Resort while in Murrells Inlet. We've stayed there 4 different times, but we really wanted to splurge and stay oceanfront. David and John Fishkind are awesome with attention to detail. (Please forward this review of their beautiful property). They were kind to provide everything we needed such as toiletries, paper towels, dish and hand soap, laundry pods and even had a box of K Cups for the Keurig! The unit was extremely clean and beds were comfortable! The only thing missing was a hair dryer. Not a big deal for we picked one up at Walmart for $10. Thank you for an amazing vacation. Hopefully we can return next summer!

We have stayed at quite a few different condo's at Waterforde, and this is one of the nicest. We loved the upgrades they have made. The only downfall is the way to high master bed. Nothing like needing a ladder to get into bed.

Condo was in very good condition. We have used the Waerforde for many years, but this is the first time that we have used this unit. The one thing that I would suggest is that you have more people working at check in. We had to wait longer than some of the other places that we have used n the past.

Condo was very nice. Up to date furnishings, clean, comfortable. There were just two things that would have made it a better experience. The first one is that the bed in the master bedroom - though beautiful and comfortable - was too high off the floor for me. I'm just 5'2" and found it very difficult to get into the bed. I think a small step stool would be a great addition. Additionally, if you're a fan of crock pot cooking (so that you can let it cook while at the beach) you'll need to bring it with you as the condo doesn't have one. All in all, the visit was great and I was very satisfied with the accommodations.

My family and I have stayed at the Waterforde for several years and it has always been a wonderful experience. Room 104 is our usual condo and it is always lovely. See you again next year!

This year marked the 12 th year that we have spent February and March in Waterforde 104. The owners maintain the property very well. This year there is a new king bed in the master, a new walk in shower in the master, a new dishwasher and fresh paint in the guest bath. The condo is located in a very quiet area, away from the crowds. A small 20 unit gated building and we see many of the same guests each year. The pool and beach here are incredibly nice. Due to the location, you can watch the sunrise every day and the sunset every night. Go up to the 4th floor at sunset. Amazing! The Oceanside deck is always warm and protected from the breeze. We have breakfast on the deck most mornings, even when it is cool. Kitchen is well equipped for eat in meals but many restaurants are nearby. Gulfstream is across the street, and we tried the new Old Chicago Pizza and enjoyed the atmosphere. Our favourite is Malibu of Surfside for great home cooked Italian food. Nearby is the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet, a great spot for restaurants and entertainment. Lots of great shopping within 20 minutes. Airport is 20 minutes north. For a great getaway in very comfortable surroundings, choose Waterforde 104 for your holiday.o

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Sometimes an owner will take pics that make a place look better than it really is. With this one, the pics don't do it justice. Huge expanse of sugar sand beach almost all to yourself. Condo clean and well stocked. Wonderful places to eat in Murrells Inlet just across the bay. Elevator for easy move in and out. Gated lot. Large, Gorgeous pool. Close to 3 great state parks. I will definitely be back.

We are pleased to announce the homeowners of Waterforde 104 have replaced the mattress in the master bedroom. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you again soon!
- Garden City Realty staff
We love the beach here and have been at Garden city Beach for two years. The place was ideal for our vacation this year. We were unable to plan it until the last minute. We had Palmetto bugs throughout our stay. We do not leave food out and the construction next door was probably disturbing them. The toilet seat was broken when we arrived in the master bath. It would have been nice had the cleaning crew reached out to the PM to have this taken care of ahead of time. The mattress in the master bedroom was a rock and should be replaced. We still had a great time. the PM was very responsive!

This is by far my favorite unit in the Waterforde building!
- Michael D. from Kershaw, Posted: 06/05/2017
Our beautiful condo was perfect!! The unit was beautifully decorated and the view was absolutely stunning!!

Condo was very nice. Clean and had all the amenities of home. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. Very disappointed that we could not rent a golf cart. Wish we had been told that. 2.2 miles from the pier was too far for our teenagers to go to without driving the car. They were extremely disappointed. They drained the pool on Thursday which not only woke us up early but took the pool out if use for our last 2 days. Felt like they could have waited until Saturday to do that.
Unit 104 is well cared for by the owners and this year we have a new fridge, coffee pot, toaster, new bedspreads, living room tables and two new TVs. A new internet connection is excellent. The kitchen is modern and well equipped.
Our favourite times here are long walks on a beautiful beach, watching the sun rise over the Ocean, and watching the sun set over Murrells Inlet from the fourth floor balcony. We are booked to return once again next year and we suggest Waterforde 104 for a relaxing holiday.
- Paul P. from Cambridge, Posted: 03/30/2017
We returned this year in February and March for our 11th stay in this unit, located on the beach, 2 miles south of the Garden City pier. The condo is oceanfront, first floor, in a 20 unit four story building, with mostly mature adults who return very year. A quiet relaxing place. We are within half an hour of the airport, downtown Myrtle Beach, excellent shopping and dining, great golf and the small vibrant Murrells Inlet community.
- Ashley H. from Peekskill, Posted: 08/24/2016
With 4 adults and a toddler, there was plenty of room to relax, unwind, eat, and play board games. Unit is nicely updated, beds are comfy, and overall felt cozy. And although the unit is close to the pool/ground, it was surprisingly quiet!

We enjoyed our stay at Waterforde104. This was the second year staying in this unit. We love Waterforde and will book our future vacations there. I did hear that 104 has recently sold. I hope the new owners choose to continue to share their beautiful condo with others

Great location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle.
- Paul P. from Cambridge, Posted: 03/20/2016
This is our ninth year spending February and March in this unit and needless to say, we love it. The unit has been well maintained over the years and it is well equipped for a great holiday. We love the morning sunrise over the ocean and the sunsets over the Inlet.Located on a quiet end of the beach yet close enough to great golf, restaurants and attractions. 20 minutes south of the Airport, 30 minutes from Downtown Myrtle Beach where you can walk the Boardwalk, ride the Skywheel or go to Broadway at the Beach where there are lots of restaurants, kids activities and the awesome Aquarium. Check out the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet which is less than 10 minutes away. One of our favourite things to do is walk on the beach at low tide when the sand is close to 100 yards wide. You are sure to enjoy your stay at Waterforde 104. We will be back next year.
- Anne S. from Hillsboro, Posted: 07/06/2015
I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The condo was exceptional and the people there were the same. Dave, one of the board members, was one of the most efficient friendly people you would ever want to meet. I loved my vacation.

We arrived with my 84 year old mother to our usual Condo rental which is supposed to be Family Only, within the first 4 days of staying there were 3 party's with the condo owner monopolizing the pool with their 20 to 30 guests and blaring music until 10 PM all 3 nights. Then we have a frat party move in next door 6 or 7 girls 5 guys that came in drunk and stoned, extremely loud every night. When I asked them nicely to please keep it down it only made it worse, they then started doing fireworks right under my mothers window in the middle of the night. Need less to say we checked out 2 days early and lost a substantial amount of money on our stay. Management said I should have called and reported it. My concern was they would talk to them and then we would get even more problems. It is my own fault for not calling the first night but I was hoping it would get better, it didn't. We are supposed to go back next year as we always do but I am rethinking it at this point.

We spent February and March here again this year, our 8th year in this unit. A great, quiet location in a 20 unit condo building, away from the crowds of Myrtle. The unit is in great shape and the owners keep the property updated. The beach is phenomenal and you will have the pleasure of sunrise over the ocean and sunset over Murrells Inlet. Great restaurants and golf nearby. You will enjoy your stay in this unit. We are booked for next year!

We had a great time. The condo was very clean and cosy. The view was perfect and we loved to see the sunshine every day. We recommend that place for your next vacation!

Very nice condo. Would definately stay here again!!
Overall, this is a great condo and we will be returning next year. Every year we have most of the same friendly folks here, from all over the US and Canada.
- Paul P. from Cambridge, Posted: 03/17/2014
We have spent Feb and March here for the last 8 years. We consider this condo our "home away from home". There is a great view of the ocean, a great beach for walking and it is a quiet area away from the hustle- bustle of Myrtle Beach. Close to grocery and other stores, lots of golf courses and restaurants nearby. This unit has a modernized kitchen and it has been refreshed inside. The wallpaper in the bathrooms and kitchen should be updated and the bifold closet doors all need to be fixed or replaced. There was a lot of exterior maintenance and construction going on outside this year which resulted in some noise and inconvenience.
- Tanya D. from Chillicothe, Posted: 09/24/2013
Have been to all the beaches from North Myrtle to Garden City. This is a great beach. Good beach for walking. No high rises. Our complex was the largest and it had only 20 units in it. Mostly beach houses and nothing over four stories high. Will definitely come back to this area again.
- Thomas G. from Lewisville, Posted: 08/13/2013
We had a great time in Garden City. Waterforde is perfect location. A wonderful relaxing spot, for sure! First time in unit 104, no problems whatsoever. Nicely furnished, beautiful view, very quiet. Hope to stay here again!!!

We spent Feb and March in Waterforde 104. This is our seventh year in this unit. The owners have added many amenities in the last , kitchen disposal, new drapes, new bedspreads, new carpet in the bedrooms, new countertop in master bath etc. The unit looks much nicer than the photo tour shows. New furniture last year. The unit has a great sunny area for cool mornings on the ocean deck and the deck toward the inlet offers sun in the pm. Great ocean view. Quiet building (20 units)away from the hustle and bustle. We look at it as a second home almost. One drawback is the loud compressor which recharges the pressure in the sprinkler system. It can be quite loud in the unit at any time of day. The management company of the building has been looking at it, but with little improvement.

Nice apartment...great location!

We love Waterforde 104 and have booked it for a third year. It is a great unit for our family of 4. Our only recommendation is for a better TV in the living room. The carpets were pretty dirty as well. The beach is pristine and the pool, while not fancy, is always very clean.
- Chris F. from Hurricane, Posted: 07/16/2012
Great location. Ocean off the back deck and Murrell's Inlet off your front deck. Beaches are large and not crowded at all. Clean rooms and great pool. Highly recommend Waterford and Garden City in general.
We have stayed at Waterforde for many years. The pool and trash at pool is usually done daily. It was only done twice during the week long visit.
We love Waterforde and LOVED condo 104.
- Scott A. from Lebanon, Posted: 06/18/2012
The dryer took 3 times the amount to dry items. It probably needs looked at.
- Paul P. from Cambridge, Posted: 03/26/2012
This is the sixth year that we have spent February and March in this unit and we have booked for next year. We are generally happy with the unit and the new owners of the unit have upgraded some furniture and seem committed keeping the unit in good shape. The ocean view, the quiet end of the beach and mostly adults in the building make for a relaxing holiday. We unfortunately had a break in at the unit and we lost a considerable amount of items. A hint for travellers is to bring only what you need in the jewellry and electronics area. The sprinkler system has been malfunctioning causing constant noise and some fire alarms going off. They continue to assure us that it is being fixed.

We've stayed in this condo 3 times. It could be cleaner, but it is very comfortable. It needs a better equiped kitchen, but we get by(bringing some of my own stuff). We love the location and the view is terrific. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay anytime of the year.
- Christine & William F. from Chester, Posted: 11/03/2011
We love this condo. The beds are pretty comfortable, and the water pressure in the showers is good. However, this time there was a distinct drip when the water was turned off in the master bath tub. There was also a leak in the kitchen sink. I was meaning to call Garden City Realty with these problems, But haven't gotten around to it yet. Nothing was bad enough to disrupt our vacation or call it any kind of emergency. I don't think the kitchen is equipped very well anymore. There are only 4 coffee cups or mugs. There aren't enough pans for frying, and it took 2 pans to fry or saute enough food for 4 people. We usually had 5. Luckily, I brought a couple things with me. Also, the blender isn't very good at all. I did bring 2 cake pans with me that I forgot, so now the condo has those in its stock! A muffin pan would be nice. The furniture needs to be checked for sand. We had sand on the sofa and a chair. Overall, this is a very comfortable place to stay. We love this part of the beach, and will definitely come back again!
- Kim H. from Catlett, Posted: 08/01/2011
A little upset that a plumber cut out drywall and worked in the master closet without moving my suitcase or clothing. Also, the condo could have been cleaner upon arrival.

We have stayed at The Waterforde for many years and it is a family tradition that we will continue for years to come. We love staying at Waterforde 104, the place is beautiful and updated. My only concern was that when we came it wasn't as clean as I thought it should be, there was sand all over the chairs and floors in the living room. Didn't really bother me enough to report it, also I did report when I checked out that the dryer is ver slow it takes 2 to 3 hrs to dry one load. Again not a problem but I just wanted someone aware since the bill is probably higher than it should be, my husband commented that the dryer heats up so it maybe just simple as the ducts needing cleaning! Other than that our stay was wonderful!
