The unit was near perfect with a few exceptions which were discussed with John, the maintenance guy who was excellent. Very impressed with Garden City Realty staff and what appeared to be new sign in /registration process. So impressed that I asked to see the manager and told her how grateful I was for an early check in (never happened before), check in took about 5 minutes vs 15 or more previously and no waiting in line (was about 15 to 30 minutes previously). I have rented from Garden City Realty and its predecessor CondoTels for over 30 years and have experiences ranging from good to excellent and with units being perfect to those with A/c broke, alarms which constantly went off, windows which were all locked, major plumbing problems, etc. Garden City has done a good job addressing the issues. I will continue to rent from them.

Came for 2 weeks October 2017 had had a very enjoyable stay. We know the area well and, although we generally stay further North and closer to the piers in Surfside and Garden City, we enjoyed this area of the beach a lot for those long morning walks. This unit is very spacious and well appointed, but not quite as clean as some of the other rentals. It looks like it may be due for a good painting and minor upgrade. Had to buy clothes hangers (usually a pet peeve but there were exactly 0 in the closets) and light bulbs for the bathroom vanity, and deal with an annoying leaky faucet and lousy analog TV's in the bedrooms and a missing remote for the main TV. But these are minor quibbles, suggestions really. We usually bring a lot of "stuff" so there was a lack of guest storage and the usual glut of too much "beach kitsch" that we don't appreciate and have to find a place to store.

The unit was in a great location and for the most part in good condition. However, we felt there was a musty smoke smell each time you entered the unit. There are some kitchen items that need to be added like plastic cups. drink ware, and cookie sheets for renter convenience. There are homeowners in the complex who do not like renters and would verbally harass people about condo association rules, and even changed the pool signs closing time to get people away from their properties. We’ve stayed many times in this complex and love it, and we have never had issues with homeowners before. It is sad but will make us think twice now about renting here again.

Love going to Garden City Beach. Close to great restaurants in Murrells Inlet. Staying at Marlin Quay condos offers great views of the inlet and just a short walk across the street to the beach. We were disappointed this year that the pools were closed for most of the time we were there due to waiting for inspection after renovations were completed. We wee allowed to sit around the pool but not use it.

We enjoyed our week in beautiful Unit 201. It was our second time staying in this unit, and we appreciated all the updates! The beds were very comfortable, and the view from the wrap-around balcony was super!

This was our first year staying in the Ir house in Garden City and we loved it! We had 11 people and it was plenty of room for us all! The front and back decks were fantastic and I was able to even sit out during a rain storm under the tin roof section! The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean! And the beach access and inlet were wonderful!!

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Waters Edge Resort. I did have issues with the door lock not opening. The first time maintenance was dispatched and got the door open and said it was repaired. The following day I got locked out again and they replaced the lock. The master bedroom did not cool as well as the rest of the unit, making it a little uncomfortable at night. Elevators were always busy and had to wait sometimes.

Down for a buddies golf trip. Great views of the Inlet. Good location. Nice amenities. I would recommend this property for the price.
