We are creatures of habit and for years have gone to another vacation spot in North Carolina, but this year presented us with the opportunity to travel a little farther south! We chose Garden City Beach when a friend said if you are going to Myrtle, this is the place to go. Hakuna Matata was perfect for us, plenty of room, clean, beautiful view from the rocking chairs on the porch. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Rented both sides for family reunion, and had great time! Pool service was wonderful! Best we have had at any rental. Beds were comfortable. Loved having 2 fridges on each side. Beach was never crowded and felt private. Long Bay Estates is a lovely neighborhood too. House could use a deep cleaning. Had some trouble with the internet service. Otherwise a great house!

The home was very nice, the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked,the kids loved the pool, the golf cart rental was helpful because the beach is a good walk away, neighbors are very nice and a kid friendly area.The only thing I could ask for is a picnic table.

Great 4 bedroom 2 bath ocean front with covered porch & rockers, 2 outdoor showers underneath, and a hose for spraying off sand on the private deck through the dunes to the beach. Large open kitchen/ living room area. Only negative issue, which may seem petty, is that every knife in the kitchen was dull. We had to buy some sharp knives the 2nd day just to be able to cut tomatoes & limes without cutting ourselves. Not a big deal but often overlooked by owners. Great week and our second year there.

Experience was all good for 5 adults except TV. We were there for Brookgreen Gardens light which were great but back at home at 9 pm or so. Unable to get ANY TV channels except one showing 40 year old Indians Jones movie and another with black & white dragnet-no ballgames could be seen

We stayed the week of Memorial Day. The beach was not crowded, which was great. Great location, very short drive to dining and grocery stores.

There were a few minor issues with the house that we did not bother to report (lights out on porch, broken frig shelf.) The only issue we did report was that somehow the linens were not in the house. 45 minutes after my call they were delivered with apologies. So great service!

The house was very clean and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. We had 11 people and everyone had plenty of room.

Great Week June 2014. Every Morning drank coffee on porch and watched pod of dolphins play. Beautiful view, cozy place.
