My family has never rented a beach house before and had no idea what to expect. We packed many things we did not need since the kitchen was so well equipped. We only had two hiccups, or issues, with the house. We did not contact anyone during the stay but probably should have to get it addressed while we were there. 1) The shrink wrapped towels were not placed properly in each room so some of the family thought they were missed only to find extra in another a couple of days later and another set under a bathroom sink. 2) the dishwasher did not clean the dishes very well and definitely did not dry them, even the glass. We did not let this affect our time! We already reserved for next year and will be sure to check towels and dishwasher right away! Thanks!

I truly enjoy dealing with Garden City Realty. It is very easy to make reservations with them online. They are also very pleasant to deal with if you need to call. I love the Surfmaster! I like that they provide linens and have umbrellas and chairs to
rent...plus you go directly to Surfmaster to check-in!

Wonderful place, but could use a couple replacement items that are in rough shape...refrigerator dood is duct taped inside and seal around door kept falling off, pool scimmer, outdoor broom handle is rusted,bedroom slider screen would fall off everytime you would try to go outside, only one last thing...the mirror closet in guest room looked pretty rough with the cracks in it. Other than those few things...which are minor, it was wonderful. Didnt care for owner just walking in either..felt very uncomfortable with that, but I dont think it was intentional. Thankyou and we really did enjoy it!

Compass Rose 32 was a great experience. Check in was easy and ahead of the 4 pm timeline. The condo was very clean and well appointed looking just as presented in the pictures. The view from the balcony was incredible and a significant draw to this particular unit by it being on the third floor. The elevator made the unloading and loading activity much quicker and easier on the back! We would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a comfortable and quiet week at the beach. Hope to enjoy this property in the future.

The entire rental process took no time at all. Received updates and received instructions on how to check in...sssoooooo easy! Nice unit, could use some updating (would love a toaster and a Keurig or something similar would be great) Bed was comfortable. The view was perfect!!!!!

My family had a very enjoyable at Jim Mel Lou. It was a really great price for an oceanfront house, but the house really needs some TLC! Things that could be easily replaced have been neglected and detract from the overall experience. Moldy caulking on tubs, rusted out vents and lights, very worn out furniture, including tears is fabric and linoleum bubbling up on the floor are a few of those detractions. The location is fantastic and my kids had a wonderful week at the house and the beach. We will have very fond memories of our vacation, but I hope some improvements are made to the general upkeep of the home.

The place was clean and the view was perfect! First floor facing the ocean, can't beat that! The only drawbacks were the fireworks at all hours of the night on the beach and noisy neighbors above us. Although we made the best of it and had a great time.

The condo was in very good condition and the air conditioner was a godsend. We were there over the 4th of July, so it was extremely hot and muggy every day, but we were always comfortable. The king size bed had a memory foam pad, so it was one of the most comfortable beds I or my wife had ever slept on. Some of the accommodations were a little cramped, like the bathroom and the kitchen, but overall, it was awesome. Only a few drawbacks. First, parking was a nightmare but I blame the 4th of July holiday and not the building. Second, the room directly overlooks the hot tub, so going on your deck is a little uncomfortable with the people looking at you. Third, when I reserved the condo, it sounded as if we had direct access to the beach from our room. There is a breathtaking ocean view, but no way to get down to the beach from the patio. Otherwise, it was a fantastic place and I would definitely reserve it again if we come back.

The room was perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids. It was clean and everything was in working order. The view was breath taking. The location was perfect. You didn't have to go far to find a restaurant, shopping, arcade, or entertainment. We will definitely be coming back next year.
