Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were not able to use the condo. However, this afforded us the opportunity to allow my stepson & daughter in law to use the condo for a second honeymoon! They were extremely happy and related to us how beautifully decorated & clean it was. They said the views were spectacular. They had a wonderful time! We have stayed at DD for several years, and love it. The yard and pool are a favorite for our young people- the cabana improvement(new chairs) were appreciated, as well as several furniture changes throughout. We understand why, but the downstairs with no windows is awfully gloomy. Otherwise it’s the perfect place for our 20 daily members!!!

Always a great stay in this condo only issue we had this stay was the smoking at the pool and in another unit on the balcony.Suppose to be smoke free building.Just hope next year we don't have to smell it. Fist time ever leaving a comment.

Avid Travelers Excited To Explore SC Beaches!

We are so excited about our upcoming trip to Garden City Beach and our stay at Star Haven. While avid travelers, we have never been to South Carolina’s beaches, looking forward to exploring a new place. I have said every day for the past two weeks, “I can’t wait to go on vacation!”. We loved the condo, especially the keyless entry. Our only complaint would be that the shower heads are too low. My husband and son had to bend over to get their head wet. They are only 6 and 6’1 so not abnormally tall. Also the lights in the bedrooms didn’t work off the light switch. Other than that we definitely loved it. The decor and furniture are updated.

WONDERFUL!!!! We have been staying in the Surfmaster or One Ocean Place building for years and this was the best yet. This condo is AMAZING!! Everything was exactly as described and the pictures actually do not do justice for how incredible this unit is. The beds are wonderful, the air conditioning actually kept the temp steady, the stove is in good working condition, the frig works great!, living room furniture-so comfy and the balcony and furniture on it were absolutely wonderful--so many times the balcony furniture is well...just cheesy but not here!!! The room was clean when we arrived and they cleaned the hot tub 2 or 3 times during the week we were there. CANNOT say enough positive things about this penthouse!!!! Will definitely stay in this unit again.
