We had a great time.
Positive: The owners provided plenty of dishes, a bookshelf of books, games, and even some kids beach toys. Nice touches! The carpet was in good shape in the hallway and bedrooms. The balcony was one of the only ones that jutted out enough to see the ocean which was very nice. The condo stayed quiet to road noise. We thought the beds were comfortable (twins and King). The pull out couch is the nicest I've seen. My youngest slept there and said it was comfortable. Kitchen was a nice size and extra seating at the bar was needed and appreciated with a family of 5. The bathrooms were a great size (the back shower was very small) but the actual space to move around in the bathroom was good. There is a beach access lot one condo away. It had about 7 parking spots.
The negatives: Very low lighting because there are no overhead light fixtures, no overhead fans, the main bedroom does not have very good air flow so it was warmer than the rest of the condo (even after adjusting vents), there are no bathroom fans, there ARE heat lights in the bathroom which when accidentally turned on heat up the whole condo (so watch that), the beach at high tide here is quite shallow. So at low tide there's room for lots of people - but at high tide it's pretty crowded. No tents allowed in this county on the beach (that included the "cabana" type and the Shibumi (although that may change) This is summer 2023. The hall air return (I guess) tended to be noisy. It didn't bother us really bc it didn't stay on for long periods of time...but at night in bed I would hear it. There is no bathroom downstairs near the pool/beach area. You cannot park a vehicle with a top cargo carrier under the overhang parking - we always had a spot in the general parking area - but we went after school started back.

Rental was the most expensive one we have ever rented. Wanted to see what an extra nice one was like. It was so nice I made the bed every day and cleaned before we left. (Note: do that with all rentals). Never had one with heated pool and hot tub. That was very nice to have.

Mostly good. Large deck and living area. Living area had nice large TV. Beds need upgrade. Back burner on stove didn't work. Trash compactor didn't work. Light over dining table didn't work. No remote for twin bedroom. Nice restaurant with walking distance. Vertical blinds need upgrade. Master bath very nice.

It was a good visit. The condo was mostly clean but the bedspreads were not clean. Other bed linens were thrower in the closet and seemed dirty. Condo could use some painting and replacing carpet in the bedrooms. Overall, we were okay with the condo.

I would highly recommend this house. It has everything you need and is in the perfect location. This was our second visit to the home. This visit fit 20 people and we never feel crowded. Great place to stay and never have to leave the house or close enough to visit anything around in towns nearby. Sorry to say the cleaning of the house was extremely poor. We were referred to call the housekeeping but they were cleaning while we were outside waiting. They know what kind of job they do.

We really enjoyed the unit. Very nice decor, clean, and nicely renovated. The king bed was very comfortable in the master, but the queen in the second bedroom could probably use a new mattress. The stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator probably need replaced, but overall this is a very nice unit and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

We checked in just a few days after Hurricane Florence came through. No problems or worries. The condo was GREAT! Beautiful beach, easy access, great location. We are planning a return trip this summer! If I had one suggestion it would be that the kitchen could use a new set of pots and pans so if you cook alot you may want to bring some of your own until they replace what is there! We loved our stay and Garden City Realty was fantastic to work with!

This is the house that our family, 15 & growing, return to each summer for our family vacation. We love the layout of the house with bedrooms to the front and living areas to the back overlooking the pool and the marsh. Perfect yard for having meals outside and playing games or just visiting with each other. We all love having the pool to cool off in after a day on the beach. Looking forward to our family vacation here in 2017!
