Our family has been renting this house for a few years now and we love the home and the view.

This was our 2nd year at this location. The items we identified as deficiencies in 2011 were all corrected and the house was in much better shape than last year. A couple of suggestions to make it even better:

Add a nice charcoal or gas grill (the existing charcoal grills were falling apart)

Add some heavy duty furniture to the back deck. The plastic chairs are flimsy and we had one break on us. The back deck is really nice in the early evenings and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck.

Fix the outside shower head closer to the beach so you can rinse off your sandy feet when you get off the beach without having to go to the lower level.

Yes we are returning for 2013!

The property was exactly as pictured. The unit was clean with everything on hand that we needed for our month long stay.There were plenty of linens provided and having a washer dryer in the unit was fabulous! The location was incredible, right on the beach with gorgeous views 24/7. We put in a couple of calls to maintenance for very minor issues and they were very responsive and pleasant.The area was quiet, as we were there off season. Tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. Overall, a really great place to stay.

The property was clean and looked just like the photos. There was plenty of space for our family so we were not on top of each other. Everything we needed was within a 5-10 min drive. The views in this condo are incredible. The balcony was my favorite and spent every morning and night listening to the waves crashing on shore. You will not be disappointed. We will be looking to stay here again in the future.

Brian White is an outstanding realtor! He is efficient, knowledgeable, and professional in all aspects. As out-of-state buyers, he worked tirelessly to show us through the internet many homes, getting to know our criteria in selecting a home in the Myrtle Beach area. For months we whittled down our choices as to areas, cities, square footage, etc. until Brian found the right condo for us. Then we made a visit in person to look at properties and made an offer the same day. Brian guided us through the negotiation process and helped us to get a fantastic deal on our vacation condo. Later he recommended top quality people for insurance and an attorney to finalize the closing. I have been staying at the Surfmaster on/off since 1988. This was my first stay in unit 709 and my husband and I really enjoyed it. You can tell that the owner takes pride in making the unit look nice with the sea themed decorations and amenities. I understand rentals can take a beating and the units are older so if you choose to stay here, keep that in mind. Each unit will also be different depending on how the owner cares for it too.
I think the Surfmaster after all these years still looks fantastic. We look forward to booking with the Surfmaster/Garden City Realty again in the future.

It was nice, two problems the A/C was not equal, if you tried to get the living room cool the bedrooms were like freezers, the dishwasher needs replacing when open the door goes to the floor, we washed dishes by hand. I did leave my good pillow down there but not going back to get it.we had good time friends that own condo 22 were down.

We had a great time as usual at one ocean place. Loved the condo it had a beautiful view and lots of room without being crowded. It coils use a few updates with the furnishings and some updated decorations but I wasn't there for that but it's always nice to stay up to date when you pay that expensive rate. If you want to cook anything at all you better take something to do it in because there are no pots and pans or kitchen utensils. It was great to be on the second floor and not have to use the elevator. I look froward to going again and hope to see a few new things.
