We loved this house! It was so cute and comfy, all the furnishings and decor inside were beautiful. The proximity to the beach was wonderful as well. The dock was really the highlight of the trip, however. We spent most of our time just sitting out there in the mornings and evenings, simply enjoying the peace. We had 3 generations of our family, and two children from Belarus with us on the trip, and everyone was in agreement about how wonderful the trip was. We can't wait to go back again!

Our family stayed in the penthouse. It was clean and had all the kitchen supplies needed. The home was older than appeared in the photos but nice. The three bedrooms with private baths made it perfect for us. We did have an issue with the door lock. We called the office and they had it fixed in a timely manner. Because it was the week of the 4th it was very croweded. We got up early and put our tent and chairs out for the day. This allowed us to reserve a special place for us on the beach. We had a fireworks show every night with a front row seat from our balcony. My grandchildren loved being in the middle of the display. The pool is small and was crowded during the day. We wanted to swim at night but they closed early. It would great it they would leave the pool open longer. Overall we had a great time. I would recommed the penthouse.

Bakersfield

The location of the home is wonderful. The screened porch and deck were a great asset. The outdoor shower was terrific and preferred by most of our family. There are some issues. The airconditioners cannot be turned below 72 and there is not a good way to "stir the air". Sleeping was warmer than we would like. Mattresses are old and somewhat uncomfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked and the appliances are all in good condition. The wiring in the kitchen is an issue. If you use virtually any appliance at the same time as the microwave you will trip the breaker. Check in time is later than some other property management companies we have used. In spite of those issues our family had a good time!

Athens

The only problem was the airconditioning. The house probably needs a new unit for the Carolina room. Maybe put a window unit on both ends of room. We were hardly able to use that area and it is the best room in the house. The heat from that room did cause the kitchen and master bedroom to be very hot!
Other than that...fabulous house!!!

The condo and facilities were great, the unit we stayed in should have had amother tv; the wireless internet was ok for the laptop but would not work with our xbox.

The house was very roomy and comfortable for our family of eleven. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out for different activities for the various age groups. The pool was great for the young girls who sometimes get a little nervous in the ocean. our whole family doesn't get together very often, so it was a perfect place for us to reconnect and enjoy being together.

THE LOCATION WAS GREAT AND EVERYBODY AT GARDEN CITY REALTY WERE FANTASTIC. ONLY COMPLAINT: ONLY TWO KEY CARDS FOR ACCESS TO PARK CARS AND ENTER POOL. WE HAD FOUR PEOPLE, SO IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO PARK AND ENJOY THE POOL/HOA APPARENTLY ONLY ALLOWS TWO BUT FURTHER THOUGHT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THEIR GUESTS/ I EVEN OFFERED TO RENT OR BUY TWO BUT WAS TOLD THAT IS NOT ALLOWED / REALLY A HARDSHIP THAT MAY HAVE US LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PROPERTY NEXT YR BUT NO DOUBT WILL BE USING GARDEN CITY REALTY, THANKS GUYS / PHIL G.

We have been renting oceanfront homes on Garden City Beach for more than 30 years, and this was one of the best, if not THE best. The house is old-style but excellently maintained and equipped. There were plenty of utensils, cookware, bakeware, towel racks, drawer and storage space; the porches (front and back) were so spacious and had plenty of comfortable seating. Everything worked perfectly, and the location was excellent...far enough away from the pier to avoid the crowds on the beach but close enough to make the quick 2-minute drive. I cannot praise this house enough! If you're looking for granite countertops and designer furnishings, this house is not for you, but if you want comfort, cleanliness, convenience and relaxation, don't hesitate to rent the Lazy O.

I have stayed in 3 different rooms over a period of 6 years and have been extremely happy!! Ive stayed in Myrtle beach a total of 15 yrs but by far enjoy the Royal Garden resort the best. Price is more than fair, nice quiet are of Garden City, great ocean views from every room. With the largest sun deck on the stripe you cant go wrong!!!!! Rooms are nicely equiped with full kitchens. Will be back every year of my life!!
