Candace L.HiawasseeWe normally stay in a property that's priced a little higher but whose porch is too small to enjoy. We tried this property most because of the great open porch with rocking chairs. This is the best part of this home along with the great new decking used for the walkway to the beach! You'll need to keep your shoes on in the showers under the house, but the extra hot and cold showers worked great when we are trying to get ready at the same time. The property DOES NOT have Wi-Fi as advertised and there is only one TV - we were not happy with this.
Anthony W.Greenwoodwonderful
James P.SpotsylvaniaGreat place to stay! We had a wonderful time and the rental company made the experience easy, thanks!
BrantfordWe travelled with our 2 young kids, aged 3 and 5. Along with another family and their 2 kids, aged 5 and 6. We found the house absolutely perfect for us. The layout was great, we felt like we had our own personal space if we wanted it, and we were not living on top of each other. The pool was excellent, the kids could stay in it all day, but personally I would have liked it a little warmer temperature. We brought the kids bikes, and the large driveway was a great place to for them to ride, while we sat on the patio and enjoyed our time as well! The beach was nice and close and very private. We walked down the beach to the pier, finding lots of shells along the way. Once we got there, we saw a man catch a baby shark, he was very nice showing it to the kids. That was a highlight for sure! There was a nice pizza place down the road that we walked to one night for supper, we mostly drove into myrtle beach for the evenings, which was a 20 min. drive. Overall, we had a great time and would stay at Beach Lovers again!
Vasker "Vic" B.Lake CityGreat location. Loved the Inlet Joy beach house. Had the charm of the older style open living/dining area beach houses with screened rear deck overlooking the beautiful marsh and open air front deck looking at the ocean. Great parking for 6 vehicles beneath the house. House could have used a few "newer" appointments as they were "dated" (showing some wear and tear, i.e. couch, table and benches, etc). One or two of the screens had come undone which will allow insects (mosquitos and sand nats) in during warm weather. Boat ramp and floating dock/gazebo dock were really nice with a sink to clean fish. I would definately stay at Inlet Joy again. Thank you to the homeowners as we enjoyed entertaining our friends from Kansas and Charleston, SC in your vacation home.
Beverly C.CanisteoTHE ROOM WAS OPENED AND READY FOR US WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. THE BEACH DECOR WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE WICKER FURNITURE WAS PERFECT FOR THAT LOOK AND COMFORTABLE TOO. THE KITCHEN WAS WELL EQUIPPED WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. WASHING MACHINE AND DRYER DID THE JOB. I LOVED THAT KING SIZED BED. IT WAS SO NICE, EVEN ON THOSE COLD RAINY DAYS TO LOOK OUT THOSE WINDOWS AND VIEW THE OCEON AND BEACH BY DAY AND THE MOON ON THE OCEON AT NIGHT. WHEN I NEEDED HELP MAKING THESE ARRANGEMENTS JACQUELYN WAS WONDERFUL. WE WENT TO HER TO BOOK A RETURN VACATION HERE NEXT YEAR. THANK YOU ALL FOR A VACATION WE NEEDED.
Daniel & Ann S.GalwayWe stay here from January 1 to May 1 and love this condo.. It is comfortable, nicely decorated and we love the improvements in the kitchen and master bathroom. Already booked for next year.
E. FalmouthFrom the moment of arrival to departure, we enjoyed every minute in Madame Butterfly. We checked it out before going to WalMart for what we would need for our stay. It turned out, we only needed bedding and towels, everything else was in the house: dish detergent, towels, sponges, paper towels, toilet tissue, laundry detergent, plastic bags... you name it, it was there. The only things I found 'missing' were a blow dryer and bag/chip clips!!! The convenience to the airport was one of the better parts of the vacation too. A dogfish and small blue fish were the only fish caught all week unfortunately, but it was low tide during the day. Highly recommend this home for vacation.
Hope K.AkronWe really like the beach house. we have stayed in a few places down there over the last five years and #110 was pretty nice. The couch and rugs could use a cleaning but really not that bad. Maybe a better TV and cable but it was ok. We would certainly think of staying there again. Garden city realty they were all very nice.
Carthagevery very good
John S.AkronThe condo unit itself is wonderful, but, the out areas and pool areas are not good for seniors. With the exception of two chairs in the pool/hot-tub area, the only other seating is the sunning lounge units. These are way to low for seniors to get into and certainly very difficult to get out of. There is no tables anywhere to sit and enjoy the sand/sea/surf. I would like to strongly suggest that some tables and more chairs be made available. I am certain that during Fall thru Spring you have a lot of seniors visiting.
Jana P.MelancthonWe had a great time. The only thing I had a concern about was our bed, it was uncomfortable and we did have some difficulty sleeping. Other than that our stay was perfect.
William F.LexingtonAmazing house, perfect location. The only thing that would have made the stay better was if there was an ice machine. The one in the refrigerator did not work, and was surprised that a house this size didn't have a separate one. Instructions for the elevator would have been helpful as well. But overall, this is the perfect beach home.
Ron D.CarrolltonFabulous view...very clean, pleasant condo with everything in good working condition and plenty of hot water for showers. Just wish the weather could have been as nice!!!
Kris M.AuburnAbsolutely love the area and have stayed at One Ocean Place for 20+ years. Room 803 could be upgraded a little and cooking utensils were at a minimum. Weather was not good, but the beach and ocean were still beautiful. Bottom line, would I book again - ABSOLUTELY!!
