For the past 20 years our family has reunited from NC and VA to the Surfside area for the Christmas holidays. Getting away from "home responsibilities", we have certainly found our vacations most relaxing and enjoyable at Surfmaster's resort. Entertainment, shopping and eateries are abundant!

This was a very nice condo. Clean and nicely decorated. Very bright and airy. Being an end unit it has a couple of extra windows. Great views from the balcony. To get a little picky about some things ...we had one key that wouldn't work (we had seen this complaint previously). The office changed it out for another one. The microwave handle was broken when we arrived. It was still usable, but it wasn't replaced during our stay. The Hi-Fi in this unit is a radio with turntable, no CD, but I was unable to get it to work anyway. Showers could use a good cleaning, as there was a little mildew in spots. I would not hesitate to rent this unit again. Security and maintenance around the pool areas seemed very good. Most times if parking at night, I would see the security guard making rounds.

THIS WAS THE 1ST TIME THAT I HAD RENTED A BEACH HOUSE AND IT WAS THE BEST THING THAT I COULD HAVE DONE WAS TO STAY AT THE HAKUNA MATATA FOR CHRISTMAS 2013. MY BABY SISTER CAME HOME FROM SANTA MONICA FOR THE 1ST TIME IN 8 YEARS WITH HER 4 CHILDREN AND HUSBAND. MY MOM HAD HER 3 GIRLS AND 5 GRANDKIDS AND SON IN LAW UNDER ONE ROOF FOR SANTA CLAUSE AND WE HOSTED MOMS SIDE OF THE FAMILY CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER. THERE WERE SO MANY DISHES THERE AND THAT WAS GREAT. THE PLACE HAD SO MUCH ROOM THAT NO ONE GOT UNDER FOOT. I COOKED AT THE ISLAND BAR AND WATCHED THE WAVES HIT THE BEACH AND YOU COULD HEAR THE OCEAN TOO. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OPENING YOUR HOME UP FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY AS WELL. THE ATMOSPHERE OF YOUR PLACE IS CALM, PEACEFULLY AND RELAXING WHEN YOU WALK IN THE DOOR. I would highly recommend this house. It has everything you need and is in the perfect location. This was our second visit to the home. This visit fit 20 people and we never feel crowded. Great place to stay and never have to leave the house or close enough to visit anything around in towns nearby. Sorry to say the cleaning of the house was extremely poor. We were referred to call the housekeeping but they were cleaning while we were outside waiting. They know what kind of job they do.

It is very nice and clean. The only draw back is that it is expensive ($645.00 for 3 days in Jan) and being it is a condo there was no basics like toilet tissue/paper towels/ etc. Knew about the towels/sheets/ etc but was not prepared initially for those items had to make an immediate trip to the store. Have stayed at at Atalay Towers many times and the staff has always been receptive.Also have rented through Garden City and that has always been a positive experience.

WE LOVED BEACH WAS VERY SPACIOUS AND THE POOL WAS AWESOME.I LOVED THE VIEW OF THE OCEAN FROM THE HOUSE.THE ONLY THING IWOULD RECOMMEND IS A NEW MATTRESS FOR THE ROOM UPSTAIRS ON THE RIGHT.ALSO A BIGGER GRILL TO USE,BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS A GREAT TIME BEING WITH FAMILY,I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME AND RENTING FROM GARDEN CITY,A GREAT STAFF! SEE YA NEXT YEAR :)

Wonderful Condo in the south tower, beautiful sunrises overlooking the ocean. Very comfortable with all the amenities you need, also close to all the attractions of Myrtle Beach.
