Nice place, but needs some work. Carpets dingy, microwave timer unreadable, livingroom ceiling fan noisy, wall paper pealing and water stains on ceiling in baths. The place grows on you. The initial appearance just takes you down a few notches early on. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Nice pool and easy access to the beach.

Our family loved this home so much the first time we rented it in 2011 that we all voted to return this summer 2014. Ages ranged from mid sixties to 18 months. The property is beautiful and has private space for everyone as well as roominess for the whole group to gather. It is fully furnished with everything you will need down to kitchen tools. Everything was spotlessly clean and in good repair. We all enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the private pool in our backyard was a plus with the kids. The bedrooms are decorated beautifully as are the common areas and beds are comfortable. We weren't disappointed and don't think anyone renting this house will find it anything but a delightful beach vacation home.

It was a wonderful vacation. Unit 711 was very nice, maintained well, and comfotrable. Surfmaster has clean pool area and parking facility. Love the location and the fact that it isn't overly crowded on the beach. We had wonderful weather also.

There is not a better location of ocean and inlet than Garden City. This is the perfect family vacation if you're interested in being away from the traffic and crowds of people at MB.

I had to call service twice, but both times they were quick and very friendly. Unit could use a new refrigerator ...it never really got cold even after I called. Could also use some new mattresses. The updates they did make were nice, but it seems they didnt finish ... same old doors, light switch plates are dingy and outdated.

Excellence on all points regarding the Penthouse. Lady in office at check-in was not friendly, actually rude. This was our second visit to Surfmaster and will come back but disposition of personnel in office needs improvement.
