The property description was very accurate and we had everything we needed. We like the location of the condo. It was clean, well maintained and comfortable. There is a BI-LO grocery store not far from the condo. We had pizza delivered from Papa John's - it was delicious! We also utilized the kitchen by cooking several meals. We enjoyed the beach and the pool and the jacuzzi. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and we would recommend the property.

Home away from Home. We thought that the place had wifi when reserved it and when I double checked it didn't so that kind of put a damper on the week because we have a guest who had to do work away from home. The kitchen really needs some more pans we were cooking out of one pan for the whole meal so the meals were taking longer to cook. It would have also been nice to have a dvd player at least in the living room for when the weather was bad. But we definitely learned what to look for when renting a home in the description. Other than we managed and it was a great stay.

Overall it was a pretty good experience which we picked solely on reviews and the photos. The rental house looked just like the pictures and the space worked out well for sharing with 2 families with young kids. The rental was in a great location with a very small walk to the beach including direct access to the beach across from our street. The pool was just like in the pictures and right next to this rental so access was perfect. We enjoyed the beach before lunch and the pool right after lunch. It worked out perfect when some kids needed naps and the older kids wanted to have fun in the water. It was pretty well equipped with the cooking and dining essentials (pots, pans, lids, Tupperware, plates, utensils,etc). It did not come with an oven MIT or hand towels for doing dishes nor a grill so we borrowed the neighbors charcoal grill for dinner. That would be another amenity I would ask they consider to provide as well. We loved the proximity the pier, ice cream shop & souvenir shop was... Probably a 10-15 min walk which was perfect!

A couple of the stove burners did not work properly but we figured it out and made due. When we did arrive the prior guests did not clean well before leaving and housekeeping was quick to respond. The weather was great during our stay (high 70s, low 80s until the last 2 days). when it was high 80s the AC was not working well or rather could could keep up with cooling the house and stayed at 75 for an entire day. We called Garden City rental and they quickly called a repairman. The ceiling fans got finicky during our stay as well as the sliding glass door but really those were all things (minus the AC) that I felt were bearable and do not impact our collective stay.

I would def recommend &/or stay here again as long as the AC was working properly the entire stay no matter how hot it got.

We have rented this unit the last (3) years and were very pleased with the updates. We did have some issues with the cable connection but finally it was resolved. The only issue is that we have been staying at Compass Rose for over 20 years and there are repairs needed to the over all property. Roof leaked in Units 41 and 42 which we also rented this year, various plumbing issues, stairwells were not clean, step treads loose, landings and screened in porches in need of repair and sprucing up. Pool guy great but garbage overflowing so probably need addl garbage receptacles.

The oceanfront view was fantastic! It was great to have early morning coffee or an afternoon read on the balcony. We were visiting family in Garden City so came and went at all times of day but always had a parking spot. The kitchen worked well, the only thing we missed was a cheese grater. We are a family of five so the twin beds were a factor in selection of this rental. Overall a wonderful and memorable experience!

The property is a good location. However, there were several problems including a leaking washing machine, broken tile in the bathroom, and a broken drawer in the dresser. In addition, we saw a roachbug and a spider.

This house was just perfect. We were pleasantly surprised with a homemade pound cake from the owner! I have NEVER had that happen before. It was delicious! We've stayed in Garden City for several years now, and I know we will stay in this house again. The labels for all the lights and fans are really a nice touch! The porch was fabulous - you could see the ocean. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was nicely stocked. We really enjoyed our stay!

This Seaport Village property worked out great for our family vacation. We had 3 families that stayed here and everyone had plenty of room and space. It was very conveniently located next to the pool and access to the beach. We had a few maintenance issues upon arrival, but they responded to our request immediately. Thank you for making our week at the beach enjoyable !!
