July, 2015. Nice stay. No sharks and felt secure in the ocean. Very nice accommodations and fairly quiet neighborhood. Only problem was traffic if one wanted to go into Myrtle Beach. The highway system needs work.

We have stayed at this property many times over the past several years. We love the location, the beach, the community. The unit is very spacious and comfortable. It is in need of some upgrades in the bathrooms and even the bedrooms, but the new furniture and new appliances over the past few years have been nice. Also, we were glad to see that the stairwell had been painted. This is our favorite beach vacation spot.

Sound Beach

Upon arriving at the property management company, they were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The view was amazing.

The unit needed some TLC in some areas like the Master Bath, mattresses and pillows. But this did not interfere with our enjoyment of the unit or property. The A/C unit might need a little tweaking as it didn't seem cool enough. But there were ceiling fans in each room which helped the room to cool down. I would still strongly recommend the room and actually hate to because I don't want too many to know about it!

It was a great week. Location was perfect. The house was just what we needed for our family. We have a baby and it was wonderful to have the pool and not a long walk to the beach. We will want to stay here again. Met many nice people there that had stayed there for many years.

This home took us back to our childhood and many stays at Surfside beach. We loved the porch which was our main reason for renting this home.

The condo was very nice. Would have loved having a TV in the third bedroom and hair dryers on the wall in each bathroom. The view was great. Couldn't ask for any better. The deck was private and that was nice not to have people looking over from other decks. Table and chairs on deck were nice and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and plan to go back.

my husband,son and daughter- in- law spent the week at Garden City. Had beautiful weather the whole week. We enjoyed eating at Sarah J's and Drunken Jacks.

. we went on a sunset cruise at Murrells Inlet.had hot dogs at Sams and ate at another restaurant in Murrells Inlet but I can't remember the name of it right this minute.this was our second year staying at Surf master and I would highly recommend was beautiful.Just remembered the name it was Creek Ratz.

House was great and very comfortable.
Great location, near everything.
Rental management stall were great and helpful. Problem with 1 toilet fixed promptly.
Staff wo coordinated rental of linens were excellent.
Only issue is cleaning staff who perpared the house, could have aid mre attn to detail .

Very nice place to stay. Great location - convenient to beach and not excessively crowded even though it was July 4th week. House had most everything needed in kitchen. Fantastic pool and the hot tub worked great. Sufficient room for 6 people but more would be crowded with the bathrooms available. Beds were very comfortable. Shower in Master Bath was biggest disappointment. Almost unusable if you are anything other than a small person. Furniture was comfortable and all electronics and appliances that were used worked well. Everything was relatively new and fresh. Outside shower did not work which was also a disappointment. On-line Arrangements through Garden City Reality worked well and there were no issues checking in or out. Would definately consider staying in the property again.

overall our stay was a pleasant one. Taking into consideration that it is an old home, more attention should be given to the furnishings especially the sofa in living room, was soil so we covered it, also the curtains need some updating. while I understand that it is a rental property the rugs were soil, wood floors would have been better suited. Also the trash can in kitchen should have had a lid and master bedroom sink drain is very slow. We loved the screened in porch and the fact that there was available music out there, and had entrance from the rear, close to the beach and pier, we also liked the fact that there was a washer and dryer and no shortage of hot water, other than that we had a great time.

Mount prospect

The beach house was perfect for our family of 10. Each bedroom had there own bathroom which was a plus. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need. We loved the pool which was partially shaded by the deck which gave us a break from the sun. We set up a tent area on the beach right next to the walkway. We had 6 other families in town and had plenty of room to hang out all together on the beach and in the ocean. We went to eat at Sara J's on Monday and had to wait 1 1/2 hours and was told 45 minutes. They did not take reservations. Probably would not go back. Went to Dave's Dockside on Wednesday and they take reservations. We were 15 minutes late because of traffic and when we called they said no problem. We were seated right away and loved the food. Definitely would go back there. Recommended to other families who went there after us and loved it also. Went to Wicked Tuna on Friday and had to split our party but we were next to each other so it was okay, All in all we had a great week and loved the house.
