The condo was just as promised. Beds made and towels provided meant we could walk right in and enjoy the gorgeous ocean views. Garden City/Surfside Beach is our favorite area of the Grand Strand, and we dined at several great restaurants near the Surfside pier. It was a good time to be at the beach as the area is not overrun with people.

Chesapeake Beach

Furniture was beat up. Coach is sleeper and extremeely uncomfortable. Rugs are completely worn. Tree by window has only few leaves. Last year, Feb./March same on tree, furniture, etc. Bar stools are falling apart.Owners need to upgrade.

Pooh’s Corner was a last minute thing as our original vacation plans were cancelled. The beds were oh so comfortable and the views were so pretty with abundant wildlife and less than a block away from access the beach. The only thing missing were the amazing sunsets the marsh offers because it was cloudy every evening.
As usual, Garden City Realty did an awesome job with notifications and calling once we were in the house to ensure we had everything we needed.
The only thing negative was the downstairs master shower. The shower head, as pretty and excited I was about it,(square rainfall type shower head) was disappointing as the hot water would run out quickly. My husband usually shaves while in the shower (total shower time is around 10 minutes). Either it would run out of hot water or was close to running out so we had to schedule our showers around the hot water.I have long hair and between shampoo, conditioner, and normal shower stuff, I didn’t have the hot water to do an extra stuff, like hair treatments, shaving my legs, etc.

Rental agent was very halpful in finding us the perfect place. It was cleaned and ready for us in a timely manner. beautifully decorated, very clean, was perfect for a 82 & 85 year olds. The view of the beach and water were peerfect. Good experience.

I really like staying at Sea Oaks. It's always clean and allows two parking passes. I have stay in 204...107. Both clean and well kept. Look forward to another visit soon. However, the grounds need some cleaning. Trash in the parking lot and the construction stuff took up under park spaces. Also, there was nails in the parking lot, which cost me a tire.
