Location of property was great. Beach is a short walk from house. There was plenty of room for my family of 9. The pool was refreshing after a day at the ocean. The kitchen table and bar stools provided ample room for our family to dine together. There was a small issue, but management was notified and the problem was resolved within the hour. We were pleased and hope to return.

It was as nice as the pictures! It had everything we needed. Plenty of room for all of us. Pool was very nice and a short walk to the beach. As we looked over the water/pond from the deck, we enjoyed all the wildlife! We would definitely rent this house again.

This unit was updated and clean. The kitchen was well supplied and the appliances were in good working order. Our only issues were a very squeaky twin mattress that caused my granddaughter to want to sleep on the couch, however the sofa sleeper would not pull out. We also had issues figuring out the TV's - multiple remotes and no instrucitons. We think there is a short in the HDMI cable in the master bedroom. The unit is on the 11th floor and is a corner unit. The view is great, but the elevators at this property are like a sauna in the summer. We also endured a beach renourishment project that happened to be taking place right in front of the property which closed the beach for the first two days of our stay. While this project was out of the control of the property management, it was a "known" event and we only received 3 days notice that we might be impacted which was disappointing to say the least. They worked 24 hours on this and the construction noises kept us up at night.

Greensboro

Overall we enjoyed our week at Thomas House as we have for many years. This year there were several issues we had with the property. Several items of silverware and cooking utensils in the drawers were dirty, the doorknob on the back door was very loose (we tightened it), the weatherstrip on the bottom of the front door had gaps and needs to be replaced, the internet was continuously dropping and reconnecting, the upstairs shower head was clogged and didn’t spray well, and for 2 days caterpillars were crawling under the front door and were on the floor, walls, and ceiling. We called to report the problems, and when one of the maintenance men came he replaced air filters, changed the shower head, and returned later to spray for bugs. We realize that all properties can have issues, and that there are many properties to maintain, and this year was an exception to its usual condition. Hopefully next year we’ll be more lucky!

We stayed in Murrells Inlet for six nights in July, and overall, we had a really nice trip. The house was in a great location and made it easy to get around. The layout worked well for our group, and the outdoor space — especially the pool — was one of the highlights. The home was clean when we arrived, and most of the rooms were in good shape. Communication throughout the stay was smooth and made everything easy.

There were a couple of things worth mentioning from our experience. One bedroom had a noticeable wet‐dog smell when we first walked in. It wasn’t something we could ignore, so I cleaned it myself to make the room comfortable. The rest of the house didn’t have this issue, so it seemed limited to that one room, but it’s something future guests might want to be aware of.

The master bathroom was beautifully designed, and you can tell a lot of care went into it. A few of the shower accessories didn’t work, which stood out mainly because the bathroom looks so nice. It didn’t affect the stay much, but it was something we noticed.

The only moment that took away from the trip a bit was a noise complaint from a neighbor, who contacted the rental company directly. We had six kids between 8 and 13 in the pool from around 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on a weekday — the hottest part of the day, during peak summer. They were just swimming and playing, nothing loud or out of the ordinary. Based on how the situation unfolded, it felt like this particular neighbor doesn’t tolerate much daytime noise, even when it’s just kids enjoying a pool. That was the impression we got.

Even though we weren’t doing anything unreasonable, the call changed the mood. The kids felt like they had done something wrong, and since it was our last full day, we didn’t go back in the pool. It wasn’t a major issue, just a disappointing moment. Families with kids might want to ke

Very Satisfied with our stay. Updated very clean vacation rental. Great balcony views and great location between Surfside and Garden City. Could have better water pressure in owner’s shower. We would stay there again.

My family really liked the 12 floor. I would prefer lower. Some wear on some furniture and think kitchen and back queen bedroom faucets need tightening.

Great stay per usual! This is our 5th year renting and we LOVE this house. There are some things we wish were better and it doesn’t seem like there have been many updates over the years except TVs, which is nice. The deck and walkway really neeed to be redone, we had multiple splinters that had to be removed from adult and children’s feet. The dresser drawers also fall out so watch your toes, and the beds are squeaky. But the spot on the beach is unbeatable and why our large family keeps coming back. It’s our little private escape and being so close to the beach is worth facing some of the things that could be better.

The rental space was so nice and clean! Everything we needed was there (towels, sheets, extra blankets, pillows, exercise room, books to read, games to play, indoor and outdoor pool,tvs in every room and two outside of bedrooms, kitchen utensils and cookware, etc. we really enjoyed our stay!!!!

Overall it was great. House we spacious and in a great location. The house could use some work especially out side. Ice maker in fridge produced about 1 cube per hour. One bathroom had faucet issues. Debris on back deck when we arrived. Had to clean out charcoal grills before we could use them. Railing on back deck was loose along with molding on deck flooring. Would stay there again for a lower price unless house us updated.
