My family and I have stayed off and on at Ocean Air for the last 30 or more years. We love the house and the location! So much room and so comfortable. The dinner table is my favorite. We can all sit around that table together and have dinner. You can't go wrong with this house.
I am upset about how late it is getting into the house on check in day. Garden City Realty says they cannot guarantee you can get in at 4:00 but the last couple times we have rented this house it's been late. This year we did not get in until 5:30. The people that rented before were out before 9:00. Then the Realty place wants you to let them know when you vacate the house. I understand that but that house should be ready by 4:00 or before. Maybe they need to hire more people.

My mother had passed away two years ago on April 18, 2021. I booked our trip so that dad, my sister, and I could spend that day at the beach, the one my mom loved so very much. It was her happy place. When we arrived to condo 601, we were ecstatic! The pictures are extremely accurate and the condo was very clean. Our towels were wrapped in saran wrap, letting us know the care that was taken in handling them. The view was gorgeous! The whole ocean front part of the condo is pretty much glass, or sliding glass doors. So you have a stunning view from almost everywhere. I really can’t say enough about how pleased we were. We did a lot of healing during our stay, and my mom would have loved it! I would definitely recommend this condo and will most definitely stay here again! If you’re on the fence, go with this place if it’s available. I probably researched over 100 different places we could have stayed because I wanted it to be perfect. I’m so grateful for making this choice. You won’t regret staying here!

We’ve stayed in both sides of this house several times and will definitely rent again, BUT.....this year several basic maintenance issues caused some frustration that can easily be fixed. 1. The kitchen is no longer well stocked with basic supplies. 2. The internet was randomly intermittent in maintaining a connection. 3. The sink drains were slow. 4. The sliding door did not open/close smoothly. 5. The vegetation is taking over the driveway which makes getting in/ out of vehicles difficult along with loading/unloading our luggage. Theses are all simple fixes, and overall did not diminish all the wonderfulness of the house layout, price, and location. We will definitely be back!!

Compass Rose 31 was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at in Garden City. It was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We all loved the screened in porch. Access to the pool area and beach were very easy. We stayed for a long weekend and mostly ate out so didn’t need to use the kitchen, although it was also very nice and clean. Stella’s ice cream is a must! The Dead Dog Saloon in Murrell’s Inlet had a really nice Mother’s Day buffet. We would definitely stay here again!

We had such a good vacation in Surfside beach. The rental was clean and the kitchen was stocked well. The employees at Garden City Reality are easy to work with and the week was super fun!

Loved the condo and can suggest some updates.
First, the freezer needs an icemaker. Ice cube trays are tedious. Also, the stereo has a good sound but doesn't have an AUX jack needed for Ipods. Finally, the TV remote(s) are confusing. Instructions would be helpful. Thank you.

Rented both sides for family reunion, and had great time! Pool service was wonderful! Best we have had at any rental. Beds were comfortable. Loved having 2 fridges on each side. Beach was never crowded and felt private. Long Bay Estates is a lovely neighborhood too. House could use a deep cleaning. Had some trouble with the internet service. Otherwise a great house!
