While there were things with the condo that needed some TLC (no screen from living room to patio, carpet needing cleaning or replacing and broken lock on master bedroom sliding door--which was fixed upon a call to management), the condo was well stocked and clean and roomy with some care and thought to the decor. The couches were fairly new and comfortable. Having tvs and dvd players in each room was very convenient. Wireless worked great. Appliances were clean and almost new. The linen package was nice and appeared to include a roll of toilet paper and a bar of soap for each bath, which was nice when you first arrive and haven't gone to the grocery yet. The view was magnificent--not too high up but high enough to get a beautiful view, especially sunrises each morning, and far enough away from the noisy, massive air conditioners that are bothersome if you are in other rooms closer to them as we were on a previous trip. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The swivel chair in the living room should never be replaced but needs reupholstering--it is a great chair. Parking was very convenient, and I noticed that the common property had been generally landscaped beautifully and painted since our last visit 4 years ago. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants on the beach and a 5-minute drive from a Krogers/package store/fresh veg and seafood stands.

Great location and nice unit. Awesome marsh/inlet views. Short walk to beach. But we had difficulty with very close by internal construction work during our stay. A work truck was parked in our one assigned parking spot when we arrived after check-in. We resolved that within a half hour. But we woke up each of the next 3 mornings to hammering and drilling that continued on and off during the days. It didn’t ruin our stay, but sure put a damper on it. We did report this to the management team, but they said there was nothing they could do. We wish we would have known ahead of time.

Lees Summit

There is a childproof cover on the front doorknob. Three adults could not open the door. Please remove when your child is not present.

The switch on the lamp next to the king size bed needs to be repaired. We could not turn the light on.

We have stayed here for many years and it's a comfortable home steps from the ocean! The 6 bedrooms have 10 comfy queen beds and 5 full baths gives everyone plenty of space.

Due to unforseen circumstances, we had to locate a new property at the last minute for a one month stay in your area. The staff was most helpful and very cooperative in helping locate a suitable place. We were quite happy with the property, so much so, that we will return to this property in March of next year. Thanks to the Housekeeping staff also for finding and holding some items which we had overlooked as we departed. They cheerfully and promptly agreed to mail the items at the soonest opportunity. They could not have assisted us in a more thoughtful and kind way. We are very happy to make our arrangements through Garden City Realty and will continue to do so in the future. We love the Marlin Quay and have been vacationing here at various units for years. This unit is clean, has comfortable beds, an updated kitchen and bathroom sink areas. The view is beautiful! We were disappointed that the back pool was not available as they are doing construction on the back units currently which we did not know. Also as a personal preference would suggest adding rugs at the doors and living room as it can get quite sandy even when using precautions. Thank you for sharing this condo with us.
