We have 13 members in our family. My wife and I have 3 children, all of which are married, and we have 5 grandchildren. Our week together at the Mariposa was only the second time we have all been together. Interestingly, the only other time we were all together was three years ago, also at the Mariposa. Our family is scattered from PA to GA and the Mariposa is a good "central" location for us to meet. We had a GREAT time both times we stayed at the Mariposa. The house is perfect for our family. We love the dining table that seats 14 comfortably so that we can all come together for dinner. The house was clean and in good repair and ready for our use. The location on the beach is nice, especially for early morning coffee on one of the many porches, to watch the sunrise and to visit with family members. The private pool and hot tub, that are located in partial shade, are also a bonus on days when the sun is too intense for a full day of beach time. The location of the Mariposa, which is the next to last house on a dead end street, practically eliminates all vehicular traffic and makes for a private, quiet setting. Now that we have all returned to our respective homes, our 3 children have all emailed us to thank my wife and I for providing a perfect family vacation.

We began staying at Surf Master when our kids were kids. Now we are vacationing here with our grandkids! We have always enjoyed our stays here. We really like Garden City Beach. This condo, #511, was nicely appointed to meet all of our needs. The property description was accurate and it was clean and in good shape.
The vacation rental management staff helpful was helpful with my calls and notifications. The only complaint is that blackout curtains are needed in the second bedroom because of the light coming in from an outside light made it difficult to sleep. Other than that, our vacation was perfect! We will definitely stay here again! We highly recommend this property to family and friends.

Rented this Condo with my Sisters for a week of relaxation and fun.we absolutely loved our was very clean and had everything that we needed.Perfect location being just steps to get to the beach everyday.Lots of Restaurants and shopping close by.Loved this place and can't wait to go back.

The room was just as the pictures shown. It was supplied with all that was needed plus! Most everything was up to date and clean. Atalaya staff was friendly and Garden city realty was accommodating. The “owners” left us wanting to return!

First time staying right on the beach, although weather didn't cooperate and grey skies or rain the entire 7 days we were there, the Royal Garden Restort #702, was wonderful. Perfect place for a not so perfect week. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

This is an excellent location for a late summer fall vacation. Very quiet, never heard the other renters. So nice to hear ocean during the night. Unit is clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the "nautical" decorating, especially the low country art work and still life photography. Amenities were all one could ask for in a rental condo. Would reccomend possible microwave replacement, old but usable. Wood moulding and bathroom floors starting to show some aging. Overall a good vacation rental experience. This property is well kept. Very nice decor. Make you feel right at home! There were very minor things, like remote in bedroom missing battery cover and picture frame in foyer cracked. The master bathroom needed toilet cleaned a little better but overall this would not hinder my return to this specific property. Owners have really did an outstanding job with keeping it up to date!
