Overall, great vacation. Very few issues. Unit 113 needs some repairs. AC struggled all week to keep the unit at 70 degrees. Lighting in the master bedroom closet was 3/4 out, closet door in bottom rear bedroom needed to be repaired or replaced. Window in family room(middle level) was cracked. Exhaust fan on bottom level didn't work.

The couch in the living room is very uncomfortable for seating. The owners had replaced the other 2 chairs they need to replace the couch.

Garden City Realty and Royal Garden Resort easy and pleasant to deal with...just like a vacation should be.Super view, great pools and convient parking.

Location cannot be beat! Everything functional.

However, 4 items need updating:

1) New Queen Mattress/box spring- feeling old and sagging.

2) New couch with a vinyl material that does not collect dirt.

3) Old recliner chair should be replaced,also with a material like a smooth vinyl that will not absorb dirt and sand.

4)Fix flooring where it has lifted off subfloor.

If those 4 items were updated- 5 stars.

Glad Tidings has everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation. Private dock on the inlet for the fisherman in the group and a private pool in the backyard for lots of cooling off and a beautiful you might as well say private beach just across the street. This makes our 6th stay at Glad Tidings and we will be back! We have stayed in other homes and none measure up to the overall package that Glad Tidings presents...she has become our home away from home.

We stay here every summer for the last several years and am very satisfied! This year the check in was an email with the digital code, had no issues.

This was an incredible vacation opportunity for my family. Other than a couple needed updates, this was a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this to others.

This condo was fantastic! It was on the side but had a great view of the ocean even from the bed!! Sunrise in bed was great! It was very clean and the decorations were beachy and homey! There were even chairs, shovel, and other "beach" stuff in the closet to borrow. I have stayed in many places and this one was the best!

We had a great time at Rucker Cottage. My 8 yr old grandson (who is a fishing fanatic) loved having the dock & so did I. We crabbed, fished & threw the cast net from the dock. Loved the saltwater pool. Needed to have one more bathroom for all of our family. The laundry room is on the outside of the house which is unusual. We bought a laundry basket to make transporting the clothes easier. We all had a blast & beautiful weather!

This condo is spacious and has a great large deck with a wonderful view. It is well furnished, beds are comfortable and there was cabinet space open for storing our food items. We had a great week.
