The Metzler House was as advertised and more. We had 8 adults and 3 children and we never felt like like we were in each others way. We all commented several times "look, they even have one of these". We have never seen a place so well stocked.
With 3 young grandchildren the heated pool was fabulous. We had no issues with it or with anything else for that matter. We would highly recommend this house for anyone with a large party.

We loved Beach House 305! The view is beautiful and the condo was amazing! We will absolutely stay here again. Had to call about a loose banister on the porch and it was fixed within an hour!

We enjoyed our stay. This is the second year we stayed at Surf Master. ( last year we were in a different unit) Every thing that was "visible" was very clean. My only negative comment was on the "non- visible" areas. Example : while
squatting down to pick up something I dropped, I found Doritos under the sofa - we didn't bring Doritos. Same under the beds-- a little vacuuming would have gone a long way . Other than that, no complaints. Will stay again.

we stayed at Caroline-a-Daye's it was an incredible house, very well decorated and clean. Only 2 minor issues, the pool was suppose to be heated and the pool heater kicked on and off all night which kept us all up. I called the rental office and they send someone with propane and this seemed to fix the issue but it was the day before we were leaving. The staff at the rental office was great, I attempted to change properties and they were very accommodating!!! I would highly recommend property as well as rental company!!!!

We had a great stay at the Conch Baby. It fit our family of 5 perfect with room for a couple of guest family members that required their own rooms. Location was perfect for us, as we like being further down the beach away from the pier. However, the beach did get full pretty quick, so we got out early and setup a canopy and some chairs. The house was clean and well organized. Because there were no guests the week before, we were able to move in a little earlier than expected.

Loved the home but the pool and pool area were filthy. Even though the pool man came by several times he never vacuumed the dirt from the pool and the amount of dirt around the pool needed to be blown off but never was. Otherwise it was a great stay.

1506 was lovely and had nice views. Furnishings comfortable & prettty beach decor. We never used pools and got in hot tub 2x. Would have preferred pool on beachside. It was a very crowded beach but the waves were great! Had never been to Garden City not much to do. Wish rental agency supplied more soap & dish detergent. Nice if coffee & filters & basic spices were stocked. We had to make our beds, sheets supplied. Key a bit tricky to get out of door and wifi spotty. Overall pretty nice if you want Garden city. The beach gets a very high tide and quite a bit of fireworks that we enjoyed.

Pluses to this modest beach house are the pool, proximity to beach, large kitchen and big front porch. Beds are comfy, shared baths are small but decent and large dining table holds 12. Spiral staircase is doable. Due to build up of beach dunes, high tide no longer cuts off beach access at stairs. A hose for foot washing is now provided at stairs to porch (there is also hose under porch at lower level. Big downside is uncomfortable couch, no chairs or lamps in living area. Basement also has no lamps for reading and uncomfortable bench like couch.

Back after 7 years! Our room was nice but needs a little more updating. The countertops were starting to lift at the seems. Noticeable but functional. Biggest complaint is the TV setup. There should be printed instructions with the controls. Sorry, I have DIRECTV with one control. Took me two days to figure out how to turn tv on and then the selection of channels was sparse. My daughter ended up signing into her Netflix account to watch it. Night owls! Biggest problem...The dishwasher wasn’t anchored to the cabinets! Was loading it, had bottom drawer pulled out and pulled out the top shelf and the dishwasher landed on my foot. Left a big bruise! Needs anchored!! Also, could use some updated pots and pans!

Just a note of thanks for the 80% reservation refund for our Florence-ruined vacation in Garden City. We hope to be able to vacation there next year, as we were looking forward to being first-timers to your beach and the Surf Master condos.

Our prayers continue for those NC & SC people affected by the hurricane and the beautiful environment in both states that will need recovery.

Again, thank you for considering, keeping to your spoken word, and refunding at least part of the monies paid as we did not purchase the insurance. You can be assured we will next time!
