Ann B.Shelby"Going Coastal" was a wonderful place, in a great location. Loved everything about it, and what great homeowners!
Karen J.KnoxvilleWe have been gathering as a large family at the beach for 15 years now and this is by far the best we've had in accommodations. The house is SO spacious and laid out very nicely. It is very close to the pier, which for us is not preferred, though others might like the convenience of being that close to stores, dining, and fun activities, but the location made for very noisy nights, esp. on the weekends. However, I don't think you could find a house this nice and this size for anywhere near the price at a more secluded spot, so we were willing to tolerate the noise and the beaches being more crowded than they are further away from the pier.
Rock HillThis property is exactly as described and provided the perfect getaway for 3 families! Plenty of room, well-stocked kitchen, and a great location!! The bedrooms are good sized and the bedding is comfortable. Common spaces provide ample room for multiple groups and conversations. The garage space saved our rainy weekend with room enough to play cornhole and hang out. With the weather, we had limited beach time but the access is directly across the street. There are several steps involved, though, so might not be the easiest if you have a bunch of beach items during the summer.
We had an issue with the ice maker and maintenance responded promptly. They were unable to repair it but we were offered reimbursement for our ice purchases. Honestly, the ice maker would not be sufficient for a large group anyway so we didn’t take them up on the offer, though it was appreciated. A stand-alone icemaker (and maybe a second refrigerator) would make this home totally perfect! Highly recommend!!!
Diana V.Shaker HeightsHad my daughter and family there in July for a wonderful week right on the beach. The view from this sixth floor corner condo is beautiful, and then you can look down on the wonderful large swimming pool. We all loved it.
Donna P.BrentwoodCasual on the Beach is the perfect vacation home. It was clean and comfortable for our children and grandchildren. We appreciated the new table and chairs and sectional sofa for at least our 10. We will return next summer and really appreciate an ice machine and one more king size bed. We will always leave your home as clean as when we arrived or more so.
Thank you and looking forward to next summer.
Daniel B.MetzDissatisfied with the size of room and no tv in second bedroom. loved the inside heated pool.
Mary Ann C.PennLoved staying at the Seamaster so convenient and close to everything. loved the view from our condo. definitely would stay at the sea master again!
Phillip W.SumterVery nice we had a great time
Dennis T.SimcoeCheck in was quick & smooth. Staff very professional. Building was clean & well maintained with staff onsite. Unit was well maintained. Utilities were modern & functioned perfectly. Provided linen was a definite benefit. Ocean front location & onsite pool were what we were looking for. Overall rating = “we have rebooked for 2024”.
PeachlandThis was a great place to stay for our summer vacation. Our family of 6 adults were very comfortable here. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the peaceful neighborhood. Its close to the attractions without being in the middle of all the noise. We will book future vacations in this area.
Helen H.JeffersonvilleI have used Garden City Rental for the last 5-6 years, maybe more. I loved Surfmaster 702 so much last year, that I requested 702 again this year for 21 days. One suggestion, would be to increase the size of the Tv's
Hugh HGastonia, NCGarden City Realty is super professional and extremely nice.
Rock HillReserved at last minute a 3 night stay during July 4 week. Staff very professional and we didn’t even have to go to reality company to check in. The balcony was wonderful. Spent a lot of time just listening to the breaking waves. All the furniture was very comfortable. The only problem we had was the tv’s. We were not familiar with their system. Recommend condo highly.
Joshua M.La PorteThis is our second time staying in this group of houses, the first time at Pierside Paws. We really enjoyed our stay. A very well-kept house, beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the small details like plenty of drying hooks for towels and laundry baskets in the bedrooms. Our kids enjoyed getting to play the retro Nintendo games. The only "complaint" we had was wishing there was a broom and dustpan to sweep up the sand from the beach.
John O.FlorenceNice house and great location! The view of the marsh from the deck is magnificent, and the convenience of being creek-front and just second row back from ocean really does provide for the best of both worlds. Having the second den and kitchen downstairs is nice to have too.
The only real negative is that the furniture in the upstairs den area is wicker and just not comfortable at all for lounging. Fortunately the weather was great and we didn't have to spend much time inside anyway - but the owners would do well to spend a few dollars on more practical seating upstairs.
And onecaution for prospective renters planning to bring a boat - the boat ramp apparently belongs to the adjacent property. The listing did not represent that it had a private boat ramp, but the photos did look like the boat ramp was part of the property (I should have asked). We were fortunate that the owners of the property next door were there during our stay and didn't mind us using the ramp.
Finally, it would be very helpful if the realty company would provide a floor plan and/or label the pictures to provide a sense for how the bedrooms/baths are situated. There is one master bed/bath upstairs off the den with an "ocean view". Both the master and the other queen bedroom upstairs are more spacious than we expected. The third upstairs bedroom (full + bunk beds) right off the kitchen is tiny and feels even smaller with the bunk beds - which are really completely impractical for anyone except very small children anyway. None of the bedrooms except the upstairs master have adjoining baths (not a problem, but good to know for planning your stay). Also important to note that both of the downstairs bedrooms (queen and two twins) have doors directly to the outside, which may affect sleeping arangements as well (esp. for those with younger kids).
This is a nice house and a great location. We had a fantastic week and we'll probably rent again next year.
