The unit is nicely located and the owners have decorated well. However, past smokers have left their mark and the cigarette smell permeates the living room area. Other repairs needed include tacking the window shade back in place in master bedroom (this needed repair was mentioned by a previous reviewer). The grounds are nicely kept, pool is nice and big and there is a good, family atmosphere and the beach is easily accessible There is also a top-notch restaurant right across the street. Hopefully the smell will be addressed by the property owners, as it is a possible deterrent to my renting the unit another time.

Great vacation, only problem was one working elevator for whole north building. Down for one week this made checking in and out and for people with disabilities, very difficult.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to not have to keep up with a key all week. The room was well stocked with furniture and supplies. We did find that all three adults showering close together would make the hot water run cold but we solved that for us. Overall we had a wonderful week.

We had a great stay in Water's Edge 1406 in June with our 5 and 1 year old. The condo was tastefully decorated and had all of the amenities we needed for our week of vacation. Compared to many of the other units in the same building this one seemed quite modern and not outdated. The pool and beach were very nice in the mornings before lunch when we were playing with our children. The beach and pool did seem to get quite crowded in the afternoon while they were napping. We loved having 2 full baths and our family fit quite comfortably in the 1 bedroom condo. The location was great with shopping, gas, groceries, and dining nearby. We did drive to Myrtle Beach 2 times and each time commented on how we like the more family atmosphere of Garden City and nearby Murrell's inlet. The only real drawback to Water's Edge was the elevator situation. 2 elevators for a 15 story building was a little poorly planned. Overall we had a fantastic time. We look forward to our next beach vacation!

We were glad to see the inprovements in the condo it was getting pretty bad last year you should really up date the pictures on your web site. New beds and couch and chairs and paint really made the difference this time. One thing that needs to be looked at is the locks on the main door we didn't use the bottom one because the key doesn't work very good in it. It should no have to be so tickly to unlock the door every time.

We always enjoy returning to Garden City South Carolina south end of Myrtle Beach we really enjoy staying at Sandy shores two because of the beach access across the The street We also enjoy all the restaurants and entertainment within walking or even driving distance Sandy shores two And Garden City is a real family oriented vacation spot. The room that we try to stay at every summer is 209 Sandy shores it is real nice clean with all the amenities great place to stay.

709 Surfmaster was just what we wanted. Very clean, comfortable, relaxing. The ocean view was beautiful. Furnished very tastefully. We will most definitely ask for this condo again.
