It was our first time staying at this property. At arrival, there were a couple spots that were a bit dirty, but nothing we couldn't quickly wipe down. We called the property management company for information about a power outage that occurred and they were very helpful providing us with information about it and an estimated time for it to be resolved.
Besides that, there are many attractions and restaurants within 10-20min driving distance. The Garden City Pier and little shops around are about a 10min walking distance from the property. We would definitely book again in the near future.

We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and nicely decorated the condo was. We especially loved how small the building was, the private pool, and convenient access to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable and the showers had great water pressure and no issues with staying hot. Allocated parking spot under the building is tricky to get into with an SUV so we ended up parking in one of the free spaces through the week without any issues. It would have been nice if an umbrella and some chairs were provided for the beach. We did find some beach toys in the unit. The listing said that there was a jetted tub and stereo system in the unit but there is not, this wasn’t a problem for us though. There also is no full length mirror which would have been nice. One thing to note is that the railing on the balcony does not seem very secure so we didn’t allow the kids out there much. We absolutely loved the family friendly location and the beach was not overly crowded. Check in/out was very easy, we liked that we didn’t have to pick up keys anywhere. We would definitely recommend and plan to stay again in the future.

We have been staying at One Ocean Place and have rented many different condos for several years, quite satisfied with the property; however, this condo the kitchen was barely stocked (needs hot pads and more spatula's) which I didn't bring, the washer and dryer was too small to wash beach towels. The positive was that the owner provided linens and towels. The beds were comfortable and the living room was as well. We had trouble logging onto the internet to find that it needed rebooted. GCR was very helpful and the repair service scheduled that day, by 5PM we had internet connections.

Condo was nicely laid out but there were a few things that should be addressed. having a album sitting out stating that none of the furniture should be moved and photos with each room laid made me feel like I really shouldn't be there. Closet in bedroom so jammed packed with stuff you were unable to use it. Door on to balcony sticks very bad and there should be some type of rug to wipe feet, because there was a large water puddle on the balcony so it was tricky getting in and out. When we arrived we were told that the condo was being cleaned and then would need to be inspected after several hours we were told they just finished the inspection and were given our keys arriving to our room house keeping was just leaving. We had arrived at 1:15 we did not get our keys until 4:15. Maybe if there was a waiting area or changing area where out of towns guest could change and use pool or the beach they would not feel frustrated

We began staying at Surf Master when our kids were kids. Now we are vacationing here with our grandkids! We have always enjoyed our stays here. We really like Garden City Beach. This condo, #511, was nicely appointed to meet all of our needs. The property description was accurate and it was clean and in good shape.
The vacation rental management staff helpful was helpful with my calls and notifications. The only complaint is that blackout curtains are needed in the second bedroom because of the light coming in from an outside light made it difficult to sleep. Other than that, our vacation was perfect! We will definitely stay here again! We highly recommend this property to family and friends.

The property was beautifully laid out and was in a great location. The pool was very nice. We had a wonderful time. The staff was very helpful and great to work with.

Enjoyed this unit very much. It is clean & very well equipped with many extra owner items you don't usually see in these units. Love the balcony furniture.

Middle River

The property may need some curb appeal from HGTV, but all in all it was a great location and very reasonable price for a full week stay. My family and I will come back in the future.
