This is an excellent location for a late summer fall vacation. Very quiet, never heard the other renters. So nice to hear ocean during the night. Unit is clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the "nautical" decorating, especially the low country art work and still life photography. Amenities were all one could ask for in a rental condo. Would reccomend possible microwave replacement, old but usable. Wood moulding and bathroom floors starting to show some aging. Overall a good vacation rental experience. We like the location and the condo this is our second year here.
We have already reserved next year.

This year we had some issues. The Wi-Fi did not work and none of the trouble shooting worked.

The door lock was also not working properly. We had to leave the room unlocked several times due to the lock not engaging.

Also we noticed some of the units had the beach chairs and umbrellas included with the room. This would be a nice amenity to have and one less thing the guest have to worry about while on vacation.

This was our third year staying at 511 Surfmaster. We really like the area and location of the property. Being able to be right on the ocean is fabulous. While the unit is acceptable, it is starting to show some serious wear and tear and needs some TLC (e.g. Bathroom and kitchen updates, painting, etc.).

The first six days of our vacation we had very good weather, the rental property was nice (our second stay in this property)and there were no lines at the eating places. Then Hurricane Hermine hit. It was quite an adventure. All in all we had a very nice stay. We look forward to coming back.

We have been staying in the house the last 3 years. The homeowners have done numerous updates in those 3 years!! This year we had a new table on front porch which was AWESOME!!!! House newly painted & looks amazing!! The table at the pool was repainted also. New floors & rugs in all the bedrooms was also new. Only bad thing was bedroom #1 needed a new bed last year & this year it was even worse. For this reason I'm only giving a {4} rating instead of a 5. A good nights sleep is a must when vacationing...
