Great place so these are picky things like if I lived there for longer periods: Screened door is more aggravating than useful. Better location for toilet paper holder in second bathroom—may need to be freestanding. More effective vacuum—I acknowledge it’s the beach but there’s been sand on the balcony floor when we arrived both years.

We have owned our Surf Master property since 1990. We have seen a lot of changes throughout the years with realtors and property managers. Garden City has been our realtor since they acquired it in 2001. Drew McElveen, who has been our property manager for the past two years, and his staff, are a breath of fresh air. They are all very diligent about keeping owners informed of what is going on with our property and in the Garden City area. Questions are answered in a timely fashion and they try their best to accommodate owner needs. We would highly recommend them to be your property manager.

This was our second month of March in 408. Just like last year, the unit was clean and everything in order.
Maintenance manager Dan DeFreest was again friendly and helpful. The elevators are truly a perfect piece of reliability. My longest wait in the whole month was 17 seconds.
The only disappointment was the carpet removed from living room area.The website picture should be updated to reflect this change.

Cypress D is a lovely rental. Vibrant coastal color palate, well equipped, located close to public beach access. Adequate parking for two autos. Good for small families.

Overall a great stay

Some thoughts:

-linens arrived unanounced after we had arrived and were left in a bag in the front hall without any further explanation
- original contract emails were sent and arrived in junk mail. This happened for several days before I noticed. Could be a problem for future rentals
- some other contact/notice should be sent to tenant prior to arrival. i called the office the day before to get details. Perhaps touching base a few days prior is a better option

Absolutely loved this house. Porch was very nice to have...Loved how it was decorated! Great location would stay here again! Only complaint wish they had a tv in every bedroom for all guest to watch...

SunDial 32 was "home away from home"! The pictures do not lie, the place is 2014! I didn't feel as if I was staying at my grandmothers house for the week! It was tastefully decorated, comfortable and well equipped.

The unit was spotless on our arrival. We arrived much later than the check in time and as instructed in our email and when speaking with the representative at Garden City Rental we found everything we required and were able to let ourselves in with no hassle or fuss.

The mattress in the master bedroom was too soft for my liking, but that was okay, because I loved the view from the loft and the bed closest to the sliding door was just to my liking, so that is were I chose to rest my weary head when the day was done.

Everything is conveniently close by so it was perfect for us. Restaurant Row was heavenly and whenever we ran out of anything we just headed up the street to the Walmart.

We had a plumbing incident in the unit, which had me worried as I didn't want anything to happen to the unit or the unit below, but it was remedied so quickly, my hat goes off to the staff at Garden City Rental and their maintenance guys for resolving the situation in such a timely fashion.

The weather wasn't perfect in Myrtle Beach but those are the chances you take whenever you go on vacation. But thank god the unit was as fabulous as it was, because I would of drove myself and everyone else crazy staying somewhere that wasn't comfortable.

Stay in almost every penthouse and they are all wonderful our family has enjoyed our vacation here for many years. This penthouse was gorgeous only suggestion would be better pillows and rug inside front door and inside glass doors for wet feet. 5star

What a wonderful and relaxing week our family spent at One Ocean Place. We have been coming to Garden City for many years and have enjoyed our time away immensely. This year was no exception, we unwound and visited the restaurants and venues. We are already looking forward to next year!

I selected a vacation condo simply from the on-line virtual tour. Oh my! The panoramic view shown from the balcony was breathtaking, and the furnishings were so elaborate! However, would Surfmaster 904 really look like the virtual tour? Yes, yes, yes!! The condo was fantastic. My husband and I had with us our three grandchildren, ages 5, 8, and 11, for their last summer fling before the start of school on 8/4/14. The condo was very clean, close to the elevator, and had anything one would need...well-stocked kitchen, wonderful showerheads, beach chairs for our use, plus two comfortable beds and a sofa bed, and much, much more. The pool and hot tub were perfect, in addition to the proximity to the beach which was just a few steps away. The children were from beach, to pool, to hot tub, simply back and forth for a week. Ordinarily, we would have been pooped, but the convenience of location of the three was so easy for us. Children were everywhere, so our grandchildren had fun with the others! Murrells Inlet had wonderful restaurants (Drunken Jack's is a yum! yum!), and the Marsh Walk was an extra treat. Had the grandchildren not been with us, there are many other activities my husband and I would have done; however, the trip was for the kids, and we followed their lead. They loved the water, the sand, ice cream parlors (Painters was soooo good), Gilligan's Island golf, and more. They weren't difficult to please...just happy to be at the beach. Garden City Rentals employees were so helpful with my reservation and would have helped us in any way possible. I would highly recommend #904 Surfmaster by the Sea to all and tell you to take time to enjoy the fabulous balcony view!! Have fun!! (Extra note for families with children...Surfmaster is very family/children friendly, and that is a big plus!)
