My family were nervous if the effects a tropical storm, just days before the families' yearly schedule arrival on Saturday may be cancel or cause a delay in having the rental ready. We were grateful the there was only minor flooding and little damage to the area that did not affect a great week at the beach. The rental ready on time and in very good condition with no issues. My family has have returned, every year since the 90s to a Garden City location and loved visiting this area every time.

Although Debby dropped 15-18 inches of rain throughout the week��, we made the best of it. The condo is nicely furnished, and has a very comfortable feel. This was our second year, staying in this unit, and will, most likely, continue to be each year.
Even though it had no adverse effect on our stay, I need to mention, the circuit breaker for the bathroom outlets was tripped upon our arrival, on investigation, I discovered the switch to the balcony was turned on, and apparently there is a short somewhere in that circuit. Once I turned off the balcony switch, I was able to reset the breaker and the bathroom outlets were fine. Also, the garbage disposal didn’t work, but as I said before, these two, minor, issues had no ill effects on our stay!
Thank you, Garden City Realty, but next year, I’d ask you to provide better weather! ����

Vacation at Atalaya Towers was wonderful. ‘‘This was our 4th year staying at Atalaya Towers. Very convenient, love the ocean front balcony. Staff was very nice.

Very nice room, well kept pool. Final two days the elevator had some issues where the ground floor button wouldn’t call the elevator but minor glitch. Overall love this building. I have stayed in multiple units and all have been nice.

Very good property location. We liked super short distance to the beach. It was one minute and a half walk to the beach. Very quiet and peaceful place. We enjoyed walking to the pier and spending good time there. This neighborhood has stores for everything we needed. Also there were many places for fishing and having fun for kids. We recommend this property for our friends, relatives and for everyone. Customer service was excellent! Office stuff members were very kind and nice and ready for all our questions.
Something wasn't good. The carpets in two bedrooms were dirty, had dark spots, wasn't vacuumed. In one bedroom was absent some part of blinds. Also the front door blinds didn't work
well.

The living area and kitchen were beautiful. And definitely best view in the building.
The bathrooms were very dated and carpet in bedrooms. I'm hoping that they will be updated soon, because we would love to stay there again.
There are little signs saying that things are cleaned under the beds and such but there was garbage under one of the beds.... not the first time we have experienced that in our stays for the last 3 years at Surf Master.

This was a relatively nice unit, but there are signs that TLC in the unit is needed. It really seems like a unit that no owner has recently visited, because otherwise many of these things would have been taken care of. For example - there are multiple drawers missing handles. The couch and dining room area furniture is nice, but the rest it quite old. The pool is very nice and the location is great.
I would note the need to be very cautious with the back stairs. They are tight, and can be slippery. These stairs would not be good for little children or elderly. I wish there was an easy way to get out back without using these stairs.
