Gambler's Retreat is ideal for our family with a spacious living area, connected to a covered screened-in deck on one end and a sunroom on the other. Pool area is fantastic for children under 5 years old. Across the street beach is wide and spacious due to the limited homes of this penisula south of Garden City pier,

Really solid beach house. Not too far from Atlantic Ave so you have quick access to any excursions off the beach and the public beach access is a straight shot probably 100 yards away. Decent views of the inlet side from the balcony and the pool was the perfect size. All the cooking utensils you need and we used the gas grill out back. I would say the interior is a little better than the pictures indicate. The internet is a little spotty and slow (but adequate) and I believe they’re going to make some changes there based on convo w/maintenance. I would come back next year if given a slightly better rate for being a repeat guest. We had a great time!

Garden City was phenomenal to work with, and the condo we stayed at—Sea Watch VII—was exceptional! It’s located right on the beach; just walk down the stairs and you’re there! The condo had everything we needed, whether we wanted to cook a family dinner or simply enjoy a quiet morning sipping coffee on the balcony. I highly recommend it!

We had a very pleasurable experience in dealing with the rental staff and never had an issue. I had questions prior to the visit that were always answered in a very timely fashion. Overall our stay was fine. This was our 2nd time renting this condo. The space is clean and cozy but the mattresses could be updated. They are not comfortable. Also the carpet needs to be cleaned. The security code situation gets quite annoying, especially if you have your hands full. That could be a little easier

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Waters Edge Resort. I did have issues with the door lock not opening. The first time maintenance was dispatched and got the door open and said it was repaired. The following day I got locked out again and they replaced the lock. The master bedroom did not cool as well as the rest of the unit, making it a little uncomfortable at night. Elevators were always busy and had to wait sometimes.
