StatesvilleSurfmaster #405 was the best with beautiful decor and view. The only negative was the twin beds desperately need new mattresses. If you move at all while in bed the squeaking is so loud it will wake you. overall it was a very pleasant stay and definitely would stay there again.
Patricia F.NorristownThe Garden City Realty employees are great to deal with. We had a problem with our door keys and they replaced them right away, no problem. The only drawback to the condo was, if any, no mirror in the bedroom and the queen size bed was smaller than the one we have at home. Other than those small items, the condo was furnished with up-to-date comfortable furniture, wonderful big screen TVs (both living and bedroom), and a kitchen that was one of the nicest (condo)ones I have been in. The appliances, pots, pans, dishes and silverware were all of fine quality and a pleasure to use. The condo was not over crowded with "things". The owners took great pride in furnishing this condo. We will definitely recommend this one to our friends.

Bob & Kathleen C.YonkersThis is our fourth rental at surfmaster and this was our third different unit. Unit 709 was by far the best supplied and most well appointed.
GreerOverall, extremely satisfied and will likely rebook. Atalaya, as a property, is definitely showing her age; not as pristine as she used to be. Indoor pool area, in particular, could use a facelift; nothing special about the prop - just a good moderate property anymore. The unit was very nice: comfortable master bed, stocked kitchen (although left little room for groceries), recliners were a nice touch but a little bit small... but thankful for them nonetheless. Owners definitely take care of this unit, and I am appreciative of their attention to detail. Linens included was a bonus! Had a great time!
Diane G.Rock HillMy husband and I went to the beach for the first time in 30 years just the two of us. We celebrated our anniversary and had a wonderful time. You are steps from the beach with this house. The house is just the right size for two or a small family. We will definitely return. What a way to kick off the summer!
Jeanne T.holyokeIt was the perfect rental place and will definitely enjoy using Garden City Realty again!!
Carl L.WilliamsvilleWe had a wonderful time during our family's...3 generations...stay in May 2012. The house was clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for our family group. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were large and had plenty of counter and storage space. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked so it was easy to cook for our family. We loved the the balconies and the private pool and both had plenty of seating. We spent alot of time at outside swimming, relaxing, reading and enjoying conerstations. We enjoyed the unobstructed views of the marsh and the abundent wildlife were fun to watch. The beach was only a short walk away. We had a terrific time and made special family memories. A nice addition to the property would be rocking chairs and a charcoal grill...previous rentals had these...but that didn't diminish our enjoyment of this house.

GreenvilleObviously, the house is old and needs a little updating. The master bedroom mattress was horrible and there was no shower in the master bath. But overall, the house was perfect for our family and we loved the location and would probably stay there again.
Thomas C.JetersvilleWe booked well in advance and had a seamless check in and check out. The unit was clean and comfortable. The single bedroom was adequate for two but we thought we were getting a king size bed; there was a queen. The agency said the unit would sleep 6 (2 pullouts) and it would, however, it would have been really cramped if 6 of us were trying to maneuver around each other for 4 days. This unit is comfortable for 2 and would have been OK for 4. The pools and spas were nice. There was quick/easy access to the beach/water. The parking deck has a very low ceiling so be careful if you have an oversized vehicle. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would stay there again.
SpindaleWe love Surfmaster North tower. We stay on the 11th floor and can only see God's great work. Our problem is the repair schedule and notice of such outages. Signs are placed in the elevator saying what they are working on. The air conditioner was off for water tower repair. We did not leave the condo during the day and did not know what was wrong with our air. Long story shorten- We were without air condition for 2 1/2 days. Our instructions on how to reset the air unit were in a drawer. Another guest helped us with written instructions. A sign in the elevator doesn't communicate to everyone. Or a sign saying to reset air unit would have helped.
Daniel P.My brothers and I came down for bike week not knowing what to expect and it turned out to be in the perfect spot. It was clean quiet and felt like we were at home.
Ashley J.Fuquay VarinaThis is our second year in a row in this particular condo-we love the place! However it does seem that a couple of areas could use some TLC. This year there was no screen door on the living rm sliding door which was sad because there were some great low humidity evenings that would've been great for enjoying the beach breeze. The handle to the bdrm sliding door was corroded from the salt air and disintegrated the first time we opened the door. Our main concern was that on our last day, there was no A/C the entire day due to an issue with a cooling tower (came back on at 5:00 as promised)...during this time we also had no water for several hours. It's totally understandable that repairs have to be made at some point, but what's alarming is that last year, same week, same condo, we also lost A/C for the entire last day we were there. Just makes us a little concerned. With that being said, Surfmaster is fantastic! The folks at Garden City Realty are great, the view is unbeatable, great location....we'll definitely be back, just hope that there are some repairs done this year to especially make the A/C a bit more reliable. Myrtle Beach is no place to be without A/C.
