GREAT, EXCEPT WE DID NOT RECEIVE THE CORRECT LINES FOR THE FIRST NIGHT. CALLED MANAGEMENT CO ON ARRIVAL, BUT PROMISE OF DELIVERY OF CORRECT LINENS DID NOT HAPPEN. IT WAS NECESSARY TO GO TO THE OFFICE THE NEXT DAY TO OBTAIN THE CORRECT LINENS.

very enjoyable and comfortable time at the beach. the property owner needs to trim or cut the tree at corner of north sidewalk since it creates a dangerous condition for getting in and out of driveway with a car.

We stayed here for week of July 4, 2012 and really enjoyed it. House is very nice and comfortable. It has lots of areas to lounge around in such as front porch, sunroom, and nice playroom in bottom for teens & kids. House is very pretty and nicely decorated, although one bedroom could use new spread. Den could use a nice rocking chair. We had a one year old that liked to be rocked. Kitchen has good pots, pans, & utensils for cooking. We could not use gas grill on the outside. It was very dirty and hard to clean. We had no problem with charcoal grill.
Location is very nice. Beach access is close and beach is not so crowded. Pool was great!
As is with most rental houses, parking is limited.
Overall it is a great rental. We plan on staying here again.

Judy Walton was abosolutely terrific. I called a week in advance of our our trip with questions as a result of bad reviews regarding cleanliness and inadequate air conditioning. Judy responded, probably beyond her responsibilities, and visited the condo personnally to confirm that the AC had been repaired and was working properly. She also scheduled a cleaning for the carpet and had some new glasses and skillets placed in the unit to ensure an adequate compliment of cookware and table ware. She was very cordial...a real jewel!!

The location of the house was great, close to the beach and major roads as well as stores. The rooms were all a good size and the layout was very nice. Nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer while on vacation. Would stay there again. Lee M

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice. Plenty of room for 10 people without feeling like we were on top of each other and lots of seating in kitchen and living areas. kitchen stocked adequately. minor thing, but needs a can opener.

The house and pool were great and so was the location. The only problem for me was this was to be a fishing vacation and there was no water at the dock at low tide. it was completely mud. When we inquired about the dock pre-rental we were led to believe you could leave a boat at the dock but it was not so. Everything else about the house was fine.

This house was perfect for us! I was a little concerned with only 3 bathrooms, but they are set up so that each bathroom is shared by 2 bedrooms. I love that the downstairs bedrooms are accessible from the inside of the house, and that they each have 2 double beds ~ a must for teenage boys that don't want to sleep in the same bed. There were just a few measuring cups or spoons, one of the mattress covers in the downstairs bedroom was torn up, and the bedspreads in the downstairs bedrooms were kind of dirty ~ maybe because they were way too big for the beds and drug the floor. All said, we would sure stay here again! The pool in the back is great, and being on the inlet waterway with a dock is fantastic!

Enjoyed the whole experience.
Great location, close to ocean, far from major bunches of people, great pool- spent a lot of time there. Fished in the canal, walked a lot, close to good eating - Sara J's, Nance at Murrel's Inlet, excellent sleeping facilities with privacy. As good as any place we have stayed and better than a lot. We signed up for next year.
A few things missing: light bulbs we had to buy, a broken light fixture, kitched utinsels. We gave a list to the realtor.

This was the 3rd time we have stayed at Rucker Cottage, and we have been pleased with it every time. The owner continues to update the furniture and amenities each year. The private pool, floating dock in the back, and closeness to the beach make this a place we will return to every year!

I enjoyed my stay at Rucker Cottage very much! Everything was located within a few miles. The pool was cleaned every other day. The only thing that I was needs improvement was the number of garbage cans. There is only one on the property and that got filled quickly.

It was a nice place, but there were a few things missing. There was no can opener, the revolving plate in the microwave was not the correct size and the coffee pot lid was slightly broken. Except for those "minor" inconveniences, it was great! The big, open living area was wonderful for me to interact with guests while I was cooking!
