We're from Ny it was a very long drive ! Our first time to garden city. But we loved every minute we were there. Condo was clean and beautiful ! The view was to die for and we can't wait to book !!

Overall, this unit was very clean and comfortable. In its current condition, I would definitely stay here again.

However, if I had to give this unit a grade I would give it a B- based on the condition of some of its furnishings (blinds, TVs, furniture) as well as the overall condition of the unit.

The blinds are missing several slats that affect your privacy while in this unit as it is on the second floor right above the pool. The master bedroom is missing a single slat that is positioned perfectly to let the 6:45 AM sun blast you in the face.

While the master bedroom has a nice (wall-mounted) flat screen TV, the living room and guest bedroom both have TVs from the last century (literally.) Simply fixing the blinds and upgrading the TVs would immediately improve this unit to a solid B or B+.

The furniture is older, but very comfortable.

The guest bathroom has been upgraded and looks great. The master bathroom is in need of the same. The shower/tub is HUGE and very nice, but the cabinets are old and need replaced. The kitchen is functional, but is also in need of a renovation.

The photos on the Web site are pretty accurate as to what this unit looks like (which I appreciate!!)

However, with all of that said, the positives far outweighed the negatives and I would absolutely rent this unit again. I was very pleased with how clean it was at check-in. It had plenty of room for our family of four and all of our stuff. It is convenient to the elevators and parking deck which made loading and unloading our luggage very easy. The view is spectacular! We truly enjoyed our stay during this week.

As for Garden City Realty, I can't say enough good things about them. I had some scheduling issues after my initial booking and they were very accommodating in getting me into a nice unit on a week that worked out very well. I will definitely stay at GCR properties my next time in Garden City.

Overall, it was a great location. I loved being able to sit on the balcony both morning and evening. Marina and restaurant were not noisy. Owners/cleaning crew could pay a bit more attention to little details that would make a big difference. Kitchen not well equipped & several utensils were dirty; one very squeaky bed; no hangers available (I managed to get some from rental office); master bedroom closet was very cluttered. Overall, tho, it was a great week at the beach.

Great place! Have reserved for next year. Only one suggestion: large groups like to grill out and there are no grills on site! Most places we stayed over past 20 years provide NICE, in ground grills. Also , a picnic table near the grill would make seascape perfect!

We recently stayed in Gulfstream Villa #113 and were very pleased for the most part. The kitchen was very well appointed, the unit was roomy and beautifully decorated. The location was wonderful as we were very tired of the crowded areas of Myrtle Beach. We LOVED the pool. It was so much less crowded than what we had been used to and the beach access was fine.

We did have an issue with the toilets backing up into the bathtubs. But we called Garden City Realty and they had someone fix it within a few hours.

My only recommendations if you are staying in this unit or any unit where you are buying the linen package would be to forgo the package and bring your own. The bath towels were annoying small and it would have been nice to have clean blankets to use on the beds. All we were provided with were pillowcases and the sheets. Other than that you are forced to use the bedspread from the unit which I doubt gets washed very often. I found that disappointing and more than a little gross.

But I would DEFINITELY return to this unit. I think it was one of the nicest places that we have stayed in Myrtle Beach. Garden City Realty did a great job also.

Condo very nice. Parking was not a problem. Nice pool area. Building maintenance NOT SO MUCH. Only concerns were the refrigerator door was broken. This was aggravating. The window came off the track in front bedroom. Maintenance came and checked the wrong window and never did fix the problem while we were there.

Beach Lovers suited the needs of my family very nicely. A comfortable house with great ocean views. My grandchildren especially enjoyed the wonderful pool area. I would definitely recommend this property to any vacationers looking for a family friendly house.

Perfect but for 3 issues.
Dryer - something needs to be done to fix this issue. Several renters before me complained about this same issue. repairmen confirmed ongoing issue. "run small loads that are not too wet" is not acceptable resolution. Refrigerator - I don't know what is the issue here. Temperature for fridge and freezer too warm. Perhaps door fails to close all the way due to split door design, but I watched for that and the temp still was 23-55 vs 0-37 (freezer-frig). Ice-maker loud and located just outside first floor bedroom. Fix these issues and then perfect property! also to my surprise there was a charcoal grill.

everything was great except for the parking situation.we parked out by the street one day and got a parking ticket....not happy but after that it seemed there was always an open spot,not sure if someone was parking there that wasnt supposed to or what but ok after that. cant beat the view or the accomadations

Several of the electrical outlets did not work and there is a broken tile in the bathroom floor. In addition, two drawers in the master bedroom dresser do not work.
Otherwise, the condo was great. Wonderful view!

We had a great time. The air conditioner was not blowing cool air and they fixed it within 24 hrs.

We have stayed at the Thomas House for the last four years. It has the number of bedrooms we need for our family. A couple drawbacks for a house that sleeps 15: there are no big serving dishes and the sofas and chair in the living room are very uncomfortable. But, overall, it is a nice house to enjoy the beach and watch for dolphins.
