I met the owner at the house last year and after a quick tour we were sold. We are a 3 generation family with needs for old and young. We spend a lot of time eating & drinking, socializing, swimming in the pool, and going to the beach. We also use a lot of computers and do remote office while at the beach. We have been doing a week at the beach for 4 years now, 2 at Hatteras on the bay side and the last 2 years with Myrtle Beach ocean front. Being on the ocean saves us a few hours every day.
THE GOOD
The dining room is spectacular with nearly every seat having a view of the ocean. We had 16 seated comfortably with my son-in-laws sister and mother visiting the first 2 days. The kitchen barchairs & grsanite counter provide additional eating with more privacy.
Many bedrooms, most with attached or close by bath.
Oversized deck with full shade tablers & chairs. Great for hanging out.
L shaped pool is half in shade.
Internet capacity handled 7+ simultaneous heavy users.
Appliances, W/D all worked well.
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
Dull, old and mismatched utensils. knives, cutting boards, spatulas, etc.
Deferred maintenance. Burnt out floods, mold in 3 baths, dust laden blinds, clogged HVAC filters, router (internet) 4+ failures per day, odor in game room
Saturday was a disaster, due to burglar alarm going off twice, the HVAC not working along with 100 degree heat. The gas grill in the Virtual Tour was not present. I had called the Realty Company to verify the grill's presence 2 weeks before occupancy and they sent someone over who reported back the grill was there. Rentals were not available and I bought and assembled a grill. It took till 11PM to sort all these issues out & restore my sanity.
BOTTOM LINE
We have rented the unit for next year. It works for us. The management was responsive and did their best. This I a complicated house and the many systems take a while to get used to.

THE AIR CONDITIONER BARELY KEPT UP WITH THE HEAT. WAS HOT PART OF THE DAY--THE BLINDS IN THE LIVING ROOM HAD SLATS MISSING AND WHAT WAS LEFT DID NOT WORK LEAVING A GLARE ON THE TV ALL DAY LONG-TOOK THREE DAYS TO FIX BROKEN CEILING FAN IN MASTER BEDROOM-OWNER TOOK MASTER CLOSET ING 2ND BEDROOM AS THEIR STORAGE AND WAS PAD LOCKED-THEY LEFT COAT HANGER FOR OUR CLOTHES. OTHERWISE THE CONDO WAS VERY NICE AND WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME

The house is absolutely amazing, the decor is stunning. The house was immaculate upon arrival and the linens were provided and ready. The pool and outdoor kitchen make this a families dream for spending quality time together, the paddle boards and kayak that were included for use were also a great perk! We also enjoyed having a yard to play games in and ping pong! Highly Recommend!!!

This rental was perfect for my family's needs. It had recently been redone and was quite charming. I loved the new flooring throughout the property. Located right on the beach, it was relaxing with breathtaking views. I would definitely stay there again!!

This one bedroom condo was beautifully decorated and the view of the ocean from the balcony was amazing. We did have some problems. We were late arrivals due to having to work that morning. We arrived at our unit at about 10:30 pm. and had no linens which were included in our package. We had to make a trip to walmart and buy sheets and towels. The following morning we went by the realty office to check in and the staff made sure that we received our linens promptly. We did have a couple of maintenance issues which were reported and taken care of promptly. I have been renting from Garden City Realty for many years and have never had a problem before and I am pleased to say that they are a great company to deal with. I would stay at this unit again. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

While everything inside was as advertised, the pictures just don't do the balcony and view justice.We enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub both with ocean views. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

The home is wonderful! Just a beautiful floor plan with lots of space. We had 4 teenagers and the only complaint was the very small pool. The pool would be ok if you had toddlers but very, very small for a number of adults. This was the only thing our group did not care for. The fishing pier was fun for the fisherman in our group. We had a fun week.

We've stayed in this unit before and really like the amenities and location. The other guests and residents were all very nice and respectful. The HOA maintenance staff does a fabulous job of keeping the exterior and pool area looking pristine. This unit comfortably fits a family of four.
Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the unit and lack of basic upkeep. As for cleanliness: Our unit had hair everywhere- hair balls in the floor, loose hairs stuck on the walls and hairballs in the drains. It really grossed me out. We were also left in the dark as the majority of the light bulbs in the unit were burned out. A little attention to detail could have made this a perfect experience.

Great time!! Great house!! Great location!!! Have been staying this location for over 20 years... Already have reservations for next year!! LOVE THE NEW FLOORS, UPDATED BATHROOMS--BEAUTIFUL!! The gazebo and pool are our favorite hangout spots!! SEE YA NEXT YEAR!!!
