After getting Matthew out to sea everything turned out great

We were originally scheduled to stay at Ocean Cove 305. Apparently, that building suffered hurricane damage. I found out that unit was not available when I called a week before we departed. We were re-assigned to Sea Master 308. We picked up the keys to this unit about two minutes before Garden City Realty closed. When we arrived at this unit, we found out that this unit is not handicap accessible. My Mother is confined to a wheelchair. We stayed at the Ocean Cove 305 earlier and knew it was handicap accessible, so I didn't think to inquire if the Sea Master 308 was. I called the Garden City Realty maintenance service and the gentleman on call provided us with a place to stay for that evening. The next day, Garden City Realty sent us to Water's Edge 312. This unit was ocean front and had an excellent view. The unit had a few problems, which were addressed promptly. The unit was just slightly dirty, and I assume it had not been cleaned thoroughly after the previous use. The building has a centralized air conditioning system and it was down three days while we were there. We managed to stay comfortable by opening the doors.
Overall, the unit was decent, as this was a scramble situation. Garden City Realty made every effort to help us enjoy our stay in Garden City and get this unit up to par. I would stay in this unit again. We enjoyed our visit, even though the community was cleaning up everywhere.

We have come to Compass Rose for many years, and spent a week recently in Unit 32. It was renovated just a couple of years ago and is in terrific shape. Our stay was enhanced by Indian Summer weather. The hurricane only hit this part of Garden City a glancing blow, and the beach is still quite wide--the surf fisherman were out in numbers! There was lots of sand and debris piled up on the roadside but the count and contractors worked hard to clear the way. Compass Rose received minimal impact. We think it's the perfect Grand Strand location--quiet with little traffic, nice beach, marina and Gulfstream Restaurant across the street, and just a few minutes from great dining on the causeway, US 17 and Murrells's Inlet!

This was a beautiful, well appointed house in a great location. We were in town as a family for a wedding, and the house was great for game nights and beach days. Would definitely rent it again!

Love staying at Inlet Pointe #33. the views are amazing, especially the sunset.
Room was clean and we were given plenty of towels & sheet sets for the week.
Would love to see the TV in the master get the same channels as the main TV.

A laid back fall getaway was just what we needed. Garden City Realty was awesome as I booked the unit the day before arrival. We wouldn't be arriving until after hours on Saturday (Go CCU Chanticleer football) and they made sure I felt comfortable and understood that process. The only thing I can warn you about would be there is a North and South Tower and I didn't know which one our unit was in. Luckily we guessed right and when we entered the 1 bedroom unit, I was surprised at how spacious it was. Plenty of seating, a large balcony and the view (we would have to wait until morning) was incredible. The kitchen was just right for a 1 bedroom and a surprise bonus of an extra 1/2 bath was welcome. The full bath off the bedroom is kind of tight, but the 1/2 bath made up for it. Off-season has it's perks with fewer people but the weather felt like summer. It was a big score for relaxation!

Overall a very positive experience. The condo was nice and well appointed. The unit is oceanfront and has an elevator. Some of the furniture had been updated. It was a very convenient location. I would return again.

This is a lovely condo. The only reason I gave a four star was because the outdoor furniture wasn't very nice. There really needs to be good quality, comfortable furniture to enjoy the awesome views from balcony.
