We loved our week at Jim Mel Lou! We wish the cottage had a grill. It would be a great idea to have a dividing fence to keep the the public walkway completely separate.

My famiy has had many vacations on the Atlantic Coast and we have now stayed at this property twice. It is one of the nicest settings in the area and so peaceful. Also, the mattresses on all the beds were so nice. We have decided to buy new mattresses for our home.

First time renting through Garden City Realty - the experience was great. The staff was friendly & helpful. We arrived early and the house was ready, so we didn't have a wait. The location of the house is perfect, it's just a short walk to the beach. There was 6 of us and we had plenty of room.
We did have some issues with the pool - the pump was not working correctly (it would not run) & was in constant need of cleaning - we called & the pool cleaner was there within 5 minutes. They cleaned the pool & it did ok, but the next day same issue. There is a tree on the other side of the fence and that was another part of the problem with keeping the pool clean.
Overall we had a great stay and will definitely rent from Garden City Realty again.

WE HAD A GREAT STAY. THE HOUSE WAS GREAT. THE ONLY THING I WOULD SAY IS THAT THERE ISN'T ANY CLOSET SPACE AS ALL THE OWNERS BELONGINGS ARE IN THEM AND IN THE KITCHEN THERE IS NO MUCH IN THE CABINETS THAT THERE ISN'T ANY PLACE TO PUT ANY FOOD FOR THE WEEK. WE HAD THE COUNTER SPACE COVERED BECAUSE OF IT. WE WOULD STAY IN THE HOUSE AGAIN. WE HAD A GREAT FAMILY VACATION.

This was our 2nd stay at Gulf Stream Villas 114.This unit is spotless , very tastefully decorated, and has a well stocked dream kitchen.We loved the king size bed in master bedroom , and the 2 queens in the other 2 bedrooms. It also has 3 full size bathrooms , 2 of those with walk-in showers. It is just steps away to a beautiful pool and just a short walk to the beach.Garden City is a very quiet family beach, and just a short 10 minute drive to Murrells Inlet, the seafood capital of the south.We're looking forward to another stay here next year.Garden City Realty was very professional in the reservation process, and check-in and check-out.

We have vacationed in Garden City for many years. The last few years we have been searching for a 3 bdrm condo that felt like home and this was it! This condo was extremely clean, well decorated and had just about every thing we would need for the week. The master bed was a bit too firm for us, but didn't ruin our stay. I would recommend a nicer patio set. Maybe some higher chairs to enjoy the view or a table for outdoor dining. Where the exterior of Surf Master could use some updating, the parking garage was easy to navigate and beach access/pool were fantastic. We look forward to staying here next year.

We have stayed in the Surfside/Garden City area many times over the past 20 years, always in a beachfront condo. This was one of the most pleasant visits ever. The condo was nicely furnished--not fancy, but comfortable. A very nice mattress made all the difference! Nothing to complain about. Clean, comfortable, quiet. We will be back to stay in this condo again.
