Overall, it was a good experience. The location and view were fabulous. However, the condo could definitely use an update. The dishwasher wasn't attached to the wall and would tip out. The stove
was ok (has coil burners) The refrigerator with icemaker was fine with the exception that the produce drawers were permanently off track. Dryer installation was a little scary, but it worked well as did the washer. I was grateful they were there. The dining area could use a brighter light. All bedroom furniture had a bubbly, scarred surface, but there was lots of storage. The master bed is too high for short people and sags in the middle. There was ample, comfortable seating for 6 in the living room. Sofa bed was actually comfortable to sit on. One of the biggest disappointments was the 24" tv screen in the LR and only one bedroom out of 3 had a tv at all. Bathrooms were fine but maybe install some grab bars for older people. Elevators were fast and there were plenty of carts to bring luggage and groceries up. Grills for guests to use were gas fueled and relatively new. In spite of what I have described we had a wonderful time and would recommend this condo. Just know what to expect.

This is a beautiful home in a prime Murrells Inlet location! Brand new heated saltwater pool and new pool house. The pictures do not do it justice! We will return!

We have been renting houses at summer cottages for years that are doggy friendly. Star Haven had not been doggy friendly until recently. It’s just me and my hubby and our little shitz u now who will be 15 soon. I loved this house it was perfect! I would rent it even if we didn’t have a fur baby. It had everything you needed to cook with a nice ice making fridge beautiful kitchen cabinets and the beds were very comfortable. We sat on the porch a lot looking at the ocean. Very close to the beach access too. Everything was great, we will return.

We love Waters Edge! Our family vacations here every year and this year was wonderful as always! Unit 1012 was very comfortable and perfect for our family of 5. We have adult children and we all felt very comfortable and not on top of each other at all. The unit was clean and beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. My only request (not a complaint) would be a few more cooking skillets. There were only two small ones in the unit and it was a challenge to make tacos when the meat would just barely fit in the largest skillet. We definitely would choose this unit again!

The only issue and I mean the only issue was we had to call 3 days in a row to get someone to come out and clean the pool. Other than that, EXCELLENT property and location. And yes we are going back in 2026.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed The Salty Dog. The house was very updated and the little details made us feel at home. The location was perfect for us, close enough to walk to the Pier. The porch was so large as was the dining room table for meals.

Love the location, amenities, and beach access. Our eleven family members feel at home and it totally suits our needs. However, as can happen with any rental, we experienced a garage disposal replacement, a washing machine replacement and a GCFI outlet replacement. Thanks for the prompt replacement, we lived through the inconvenience. Should be good to go for the latest renters.

Good house with pool and easy access to beach. Kitchen is well equipped and we used additional refrigerator in the basement. Beds are comfortable, living room sofa (only seating) is not. Large dining table was great for our group of twelve. Maintenance responded well to issue with a/c but lr tv would never work.

This home is true to the pictures. Great location. Relaxing and quiet. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen could use some additional items, i.e. mixing or serving bowls. The front bedrooms get the morning sun so very bright. would be nice to have something to darken the room. But highly recommend this property. Property management company is very responsive to calls. We hope to book again for next year.

Beautiful condo; appeared to be just recently updated with very nice fixtures/appliances; very clean with comfortable furniture/beds.
Only recommendation I have for the owner is to purchase additional silverware...with six of us, we ran out daily.
The next time we visit the area, we will certainly see if the unit is available.
Garden City Realty was very easy to work with and accommodating.
