Our family loves the Mariposa. This summer makes our 11th year there. The location is fabulous with the Myrtle Beach State Park to the north. There is plenty of room for all 16 of us and we don't feel like we're on top of each other.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pooh's Corner! The home was perfect, clean and fit our big extended family. We loved the pool area and dock. We actually had an issue with something floating up and under the dock that made it dangerous for us to walk on, but the folks at Garden City Realty were on it and had it repaired in no time. I can't say enough good things about Garden City Realty. They really took care of us.

The property description was accurate. It was clean and well maintained. The only issues were the refrigerator door didn't stay closed and one of the bathroom doors would stick.

check in/out and dealing with Garden city realty for questions was very easily done. The property had a few minor issues that were easy to just deal with without involving realty company. these issues were where the tile floor and the other flooring meet. The metal piece was not covering the tile well and the nails were not flush. So I just used the bathroom rug to cover them. The location of this unit was perfect. you could see the ocean and hear the waves but once the doors were closed it was very quiet. I will be coming back here for many more family vacations!!!

Easy access to beach and Garden City Beach restaurants and activities. Loved the fireworks on the beach each night. Size of the house was adequate for six people and kitchen was well stocked with supplies. My only somewhat negative comment is that the house could use some updating. Even with that, it's fine for a family looking for a basic place to stay that's close to where you'd want to go.

We had a group of eleven during our stay in this beach house and it was wonderful. Loved the kitchen and the washer/dryer was a life saver! It really had all the amenities of home. We had two days of downpours and the dining room table was perfect to play games on. The homemade pound cake from the owner was a beautiful touch and we all enjoyed it. Had an issue with The hot water so we called The rental company, ran out to The store, and when we came back, it was fixef! The best part though, was the close proximity to the ocean and the view from the front porch was incredible! We definitely want to come back!

We had a wonderful time. The house was great and had lots of room. The only real complaint is the dust that was hanging around. All ceiling fans really need to be cleaned, had 1/4 inch dust or more on them. You turn them on and dust flies. Otherwise it was great.
