Our unit was beautiful. It was clean and uncluttered. Loved the beach decor and pictures on the walls. The furniture was comfortable. My son and his cousins enjoyed playing the games that were there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of bath towels. The pool area was well maintained. Management was friendly and helpful. The only complaint that I would have is that the carpet in the bedrooms was stained. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay. If I come back to Surfmaster again I would rent this unit again.

My family of 6 and both sets of grandparents came for our annual vacation. This house has plenty of room and everything we needed when we wanted to stay in and cook. We had a wonderful time!

Great location, nice pool, wonderful view with large balcony. Condo has nice king bed, but the sleeper sofa isn’t fit for adults or children. I could not sleep at all, and it detracted from my vacation to be so tired. Pool area needs bathroom access; you have to go to your condo to use the bathroom. Ample seating at dining table, loved being able to wash and dry clothes. Door knob is not as shown in photo so bringing a child safety door knob cover didn’t help keep my kids safely inside. We had to block door with dining chair and luggage. Also, even though it’s a first floor condo, the balcony is not ground level and my toddler could fit between rails. We had a great time playing at the beach though.

We stayed at the IR house for the week of July 4th. Everything was clean when we arrived and the kitchen had everything we needed....including a crock pot! The family room was very large and our granddaughters had plenty of room to practice and perform their dances. The sunset was perfect over the inlet every evening and the sunrise was beautiful from the front porch. The dock was easy to access for our boat and we had a grand time catching crabs.....plenty to eat. We loved the glass sunroom on the back. We had one small maintenance issue and it was taken care of very quickly. We have already reserved this house for next summer! It was so nice not to have to share bathrooms. The mattresses were the only down of the trip. Next year we will purchase egg crate toppers if they have not been upgraded. It was the perfect house for us, our children, and grandchildren.

Both houses were perfect for our large group. a few minor repairs to report on the first days but they were attended to promptly. overall, we totally enjoyed our stay.

great location on beach and by land. house spacious and clean. need updates in master bath which is a jacuzzi and a hand held nozzle. Fortunately we were with family and could shower in one of the other bathrooms. I won't be back till there is a shower curtain and wall mounted shower nozzle. Check in could also be easier with a coded lockbox instead of having to wait in line at the realty office. Cooktop is slow to heat and slider doors leak inside when raining.

Brought my Mom who is 88 years old & we had a great time at this location! We Loved the screened in porch! The condo was clean, kitchen had everything you would need, & the view was awesome!

Our family has rented this condo for about 7 years in a row. Last year we began renting it for a 2 week stay. Best decision!! We love the casual comfort of the Waterforde complex and have made friends with 3 other family who now stay for 2 weeks each year. The condo itself is in good shape but could use a large pot for cooking things like spaghetti noodles. Other than that I cannot think of an improvement the owner could make.

Mount Nebo

We had a great time. Location was great. I wasn't real pleased with the parking. It was very tight and full. Each unit should have at least one designated parking space. When each unit has multiple parking passes, it isn't fair to others that pay to stay there and have no place to park. The parking passes over the first one per unit, should be the one that needs to park elsewhere, ie street. The Condo unit was clean and spacious. I did report to Garden City Realty that the window blinds would not open in the master bedroom or living room. They seemed to be broken. And the shower curtain in the master bath did not work properly either. The master bath also has a garden tub which is hard to get in and out of to shower and the shower facet is in the middle of the wall and very hard to reach over the tub to turn on. The water could also be turned up a little for hotter water. These are all minor issues. We had a great time all and all.

Family vacation over the 4th of July. Unit was not ready until 5pm and we departed on Friday, July 5th. Beach time, golf time and lots of friendship. It’s a looong walk to the pier. Elevators are quick. Pool was packed with noisy kids but it was good noise. Monster fireworks up and down the coast on the 4th. Military fly over on the 4th was weak.

Absolutely love this adorable pre-Hugo beach house. Warm, comfortable and very peaceful. Close enough to other locations but far enough from the hub bub of Myrtle Beach to be a true beach experience.
