Great location for this big and beautiful property. The hot tub was a big hit on the overcast/cool days. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time at the beach. The extra refrigerator and ice machine were so nice to have.

There are a few small opportunities for improvement that are easy to rectify and would move my ratings to 5 stars across the board:
1. The kitchen knives were in very sad condition...most were unusable.
2. We had ants in the kitchen and were thankful for the Raid that was available.
3. There were some path lights on the pier to the beach that needed to be remounted.
4. We did not have a recycle bin available and we could have used an extra garbage can. We had to combine the recyclables into the garbage.

The house was excellent for our family vacation! The house was clean and stocked well with kitchen accessories. The elevator was a plus for sure and being so close to the beach which was just a quick walk across the road. Overall I would rate this house a score of 10+ and would rent it again.

Enjoyed marsh view, the wild birds, the small fish jumping. Kayaking in the marsh every day. No grill provided, but I brought a portable and cooked behind the home daily. We grilled tenderloin, fish, hot dogs and burgers. Elevator worked well for moving in the heavy stuff. The electric kitchen range is a junk, but works, The kitchen exhaust fan did nothing for smoke (another reason for grilling outside) First floor porches on rear of home are covered by second floor and have hammock and comfortable chairs for sitting at end of day to watch sunset with a drink in hand. Plenty of seating for adults ha big table and grandkids on the windowed porch. Lots of parking for six cars (we had 5) so everyone can come and go without moving cars. Easy beach access just across the street.

We pretty much kept to ourselves and socially distanced from the outside. Activities included: beach walks, view sunrise on beach, Magnolia Gardens, archery range, deep sea charter fishing and kayaking/stand up paddle boarding in the marsh creeks.

RuffLife was a great house. The location was great as it was close right across the street from beach access and allowed for easy viewing of nightly fireworks. The layout of the house is good as well. I liked that all the bedrooms were upstairs and there were two levels of balconies. My only complaint is that the beds were very soft (some people like this I guess).

Our overall experience was great! The condo was very nice and clean. Loved the location so we could look out of windows and see the beach and ocean! All the amenities were available at condo. Thank you for helping our family have a memorable vacation!!

We had a fabulous week in Garden City considering teh weather was not great and the current COVID -19 situation. There were many fun families at this complex and it seemed very family friendly. Ocean Cove 102 needs more deck chairs in the unit. With occupany of 10 and only having 4 chairs it makes the deck seating very limited. We also struggled to find even 8 decent pillows. If you are looking for spacious bathrooms this is not the unit for your family but the bedrooms and kitchen are good size. Love the option of 2 decks but the lack of deck furniture limits the use of those also. With the COVID-19 restrictions the lack of pool furniture was not a problem because you can always bring your beach chair with you. Parking was great at this unit and helped to keep your car shaded during the heat of the day. I would hope that with people trying to distance this property could lift their ban on outside grilling as that is a safer option than eating out. We enjoyed our time away from home but willlook at other options next time.

We had the best week staying at Waccamaw Exchange! My husband and I are both local from the area and were very pleased with the location of this house and everything about it. The house was clean and so cozy and quaint. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. From the minute we walked in and saw the Clemson memorabilia, we knew we had picked the right house lol. The sunset views across the inlet from the dock were amazing. We enjoyed fishing, catching crabs and even a jellyfish off of the dock. The house is in a great location. It was a very quick five minute or less walk over to the beach access. Using a beach cart to roll all of our stuff over to the beach made the walk even easier. It was also a very easy walk down to Sam’s Corner and the pier. We loved that the house was dog friendly, but had no signs of wear and tear from previous dogs. It had a great backyard for walking the dog. Our little Pomeranian enjoyed her vacation as much as we did. We would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay there again in the future. If this house goes up for sale, we would be interested in buying!

we had a wonderful experience. this was our 4th trip using One Ocean Place. we were in unit 210 3 bedrooms. we love it and will continue to come each summer. the property was clean with plenty of towels and linens. I highly recommend this unit and the professionals at Garden City Realty are THE BEST!!

The condo's decor is well done. The beds were very comfortable. Great location right across the street from the beach. Pool is huge and convenient. We had a very nice time. The only thing I would recommend is replacing some of the spoons. I think they may have been caught in the disposal a time or two. Thanks

This year has been different then any year in my life. We normally take a vacation to the beach each year. With the pandemic, we were sceptical about going but we went anyway. The house we rented was wonderful. It was laid out perfect for our large group. We had 10 people in a 5 bedroom house. The bedrooms were arranged around the main living area and it worked out perfect. The first half of our trip was disrupted by the weather. For 3 1/2 days it was rainy, windy, and cold. We just enjoyed the house for those days. The fourth day, the weather cleared up and got warm. We plan to reserve this same house for our vacation next year. We love the Surfside/Garden City area.

The property description was accurate. Our stay was very nice and we will do it again. The bedroom doors would not close. The hallway bathroom outlet gets VERY hot, even with a small makeup mirror light. The second bedroom is dark. It needs a different lamp or overhead lighting with a much brighter bulb. It was like being in a cave. The patio is situated perfectly so that it blocks the wind/rain and has some shade and sun. Beautiful sunrises. We had a great time.

I can't say enough good things about Royal Garden Resort and Drew McElveen. With all this Covid stuff going on, I was really stressed about the up-and-coming vacation we had in July with the numbers going up there. I felt like I was getting nowhere, but then I spoke with Drew, and within a few days, he had talked to the owner and fixed things for me. Thank you so much, Drew and Garden City Realty. 

I truly appreciate you guys and your understanding of my wanting to keep my family safe. When this is over we plan to vacation with you. Until then stay safe and healthy.
