The sun is always available with this unit. The morning sun is easily accessed from the inviting rocking chairs located on the beach side of the building. The afternoon sun shines all the time on the spacious private deck. A great place for breakfast coffee, relaxing lunch, afternoon wine and cheese or after dinner sunset. Great vacation.

We haven't been to the Myrtle Beach area for 20+ years. And, found that the Garden City area (at least during the off season) is still relatively quiet and more family friendly. Murrell's Inlet on the other hand is more busier than I recalled. Still wonderful food and "quaint". LOVE the fresh seafood! Our vacation rental (Penthouse) we loved with the wrap around and opened deck. While it was too cold for the pools, they were open and available. The property was well maintained with the start up of flowered pots and budding trees. Quite beautiful!

Perfect access to the beach with great views of the ocean. Very comfortable for the two of us. Kitchen well stocked with all supplies to help us cook meals. Pictures very much represent the beach house. We will return!

This is a great location, clean and quiet building. The beach is beautiful and not overly crowded. The location is close to restaurants in Murrells Inlet.
Garden City staff were great as usual.

We often vacation on Kiawah and stay in very luxurious homes, none of which match the shabby chic charm of Murray’s Inlet Shack. Murray’s is charming, clean and in good shape. The beds were comfortable and the newly renovated bathrooms were lovely. We love the charm of the SC coast!

It was very nice. Great to get away from the snow of Ohio. Beautiful view of the ocean. Convenient to food and shopping and beach. Couches needed to be updated, and a little more cleaning in hidden areas like under the bed and corners.

Check in very good. Very clean and all was good except the mattress in second bedroom and the couch is very very worn and saggy.

We really loved our stay at Surf Master Penthouse F. The apartment is large and airy, with wall to wall windows in the living room, which gave a fantastic view of the beach and ocean. The beds were very comfortable, there were ample towels supplied and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils. If you plan on cooking, you will have to bring your own condiments and spices, as the cupboards and fridge were completely empty. This probably was partly due to Covid precautions, and was therefore understandable. The only minor drawback was that there were no lamps at all in the unit. Having a bedside lamp by which to read would have been a nice touch. Overall, we loved our week here and would readily recommend it and book it again if we find ourselves in Garden City.

This place, as most of SurfMaster, is a wonderful stay! Place is clean, almost completely updated, everything is in working order, and the staff at the realty company goes above and beyond (if I need them, which I didn't).
Yes, the stove may be late 1980s, but it works well. If I really had to offer a downside, it would be no sheet pan, but we made do with an aluminum pan.

Absolutely loved this place. Having two king beds and 2 sets of bunk beds is a major plus. Beautiful views. Very clean. Walking distance to Gulfstream Cafe. We will absolutely rent here again.

Nice condo, kitchen utensils ok pots in good shape, baking sheets under stove not so good. We had a few cold nights below 30 and after having the heat on for the night it would start coming out cold.
